I’ve used a Fit Bit Alta HR for two years and loved it, so I thought I’d try the new Inspire HR. In a few words, I was disappointed and ended up returning it for a refund. For starters, the display is roughly the same size as the Alta, but it uses most of the screen space for these stupid symbols that represent the mode, leaving the important text information like steps, distance, calories and heart rate so small that it’s difficult to read unless you stop your exercise and squint your eyes. Furthermore, the device never seemed to figure out if it should link to my phone or not. The only way I was able to link was to leave it on continuous linkage which drained the battery quickly (2-3 days), or to turn the linkage off entirely. So whenever I wanted to uplink my material I had to go to continuous link then remember to turn it off after the data were transferred. The final straw was the heart rate monitor. It worked fine for three days then simply stopped working all together. I tried everything to get the feature back and after five days I gave up and returned the watch to Best Buy for a refund. With the Alta HR being discontinued, I will have to consider buying another brand now.

I had been wanting a Fitbit, over time, had been doing my "homework" to get a good idea of what would suit me best. I thought I was going to go with the Alta HR, I liked the sleekness and didn't need all the bells and whistles of some others...then, I was again checking out their website. I saw the Inspire HR for the first time. Not only was it also sleek, it did sooo much more than the Alta HR AND it was way lower in price!! First thing I did was call Best Buy to check availability! The BB closest to me didnt have my color but a store a bit away did...I was anxious to get my Inspire HR as I had just joined the gym and wanted to start tracking all of my activity asap!! So, I drove a bit further away. It is a great tracking device!! It tracks everything I want, and has features I wasnt actually aware of till really using it, getting familiar with it. I once had a charge 2...might have done more than I was familiar with, there were just certain basics I was interested in. I just knew I wanted something sleeker this time. This, I know inside and out...called customer service for a bit of assist. Now I have my wonderful, sleek, tracker...it can track any of my exercises, the stopwatch, timer...and all of the basics you want from your Fitbit. The only thing it doesnt track that my charge 2 did is stairs....and....since I dont hike, I really dont care.. Its a very nice looking, reasonably priced, exceptional tracker....a lot of bang for your buck!!

Loses All Data Many Times A Day!!!

This is my second Inspire HR that has the same defect. It does not register the 250 steps taken during an hour both never did. It also loses all the data except sleep when it syncs. It will reset to zero steps or this morning it reset to 700 steps when I was over 3500 steps. It resets many times a day!! Losing steps is not a big deal my body knows what it did. But the other data is its very useful and the reason why I wear a tracker. Best buy has a great return policy as long as you return it within a certain period of time. My fitbit blaze got it when it came out its still running strong same with the charge 2. So I will try the Versa lite. I did contact fitbit but no reply yet. It seems the only way to contact them is through feedback. So I reset the devices. I ran a deep scan on my computer no issues with computer. I signed out of the fitbit app signed back in. I removed the fitbit app and reinstalled it. The app the computer is fine its the device. But I had to check. And I have no clue on a fix so will return it. And get the Versa lite. Fingers crossed. I wish Best buy would sell an extended warranty on these devices. Just in case there is a gremlin making them go wonky. The tell for me it was not registering my 250 steps an hour on the app. The first device had that issue from the get go so did the second. I am not exchanging it for the 3rd time.

I received this Fitbit inspire Hr as my birthday present since my previous HR version didn’t do to “ much “ compared with this one .. yesterday while doing dishes and having my phone charging in my room on the second floor my Fitbit Inspire Hr somehow called my husband ( I’m assuming cause it was the last call register)and my husband being in his office he came outside to tell me that “” I was calling him”” now I’m doing dishes and my phone isn’t close to me ... I say ... I don’t even have my phone how I Im calling you .. i go to my room to check if my phone was and it was there ... calling my husband ... Im like ok there is a ghost in the house using my phone lol ... I hang up the call and left the phone Charging ... my husband swear is my Fitbit I say no cause this can only get notifications so I go back to do my dishes and in less than 5 min is calling again ... now to prove my husband wrong I went to my garage to get far away from my phone and my husband keep saying “” he Can hear everything what Im saying so I’m whispering counting on Spanish and holding the Fitbit close to my mouth so no one can hear me in the garage “ and my husband told me exactly what I was saying .... how I don’t know ... as far i as know I cannot make calls or use voice command with this but somehow did it so of course this didn’t make me confortable at all and Best Buy or Fitbit . Com don’t want to help

Lasted 16 Days - worst return policy ever!

The actual Fitbit is a nice product with nice features. The charger however is awful. The cord is super short and the magnet is super weak and there is no clip as part of it to hold the watch in place and keep it attached to the charger like the other Fitbit models have had. Have not had a chance to try it’s waterproof abilities because unfortunately it simply stopped charging on day 16. I tried different bases, outlets, positioning, etc. and nothing worked. Not sure if it’s the unit or the charger, but I was left with a dead Fitbit in just over two weeks. To add insult to injury, this when I discovered that the Best Buy return policy is 15 days! And the sales person in the store on day 18 said sorry, there is nothing they can do. If I had realized that in advance, I would have purchased it from another store. Very disappointed in the product, the policy and the customer service.

I have been using this product for several weeks. I am showing some improvement in resting heart rate (79 down to 73), I am averaging 4 miles a day walking but had 12 mile days for the three days I was in New York City last week. I have increased sleep (up from 5 hr 10 min to 6 hr 30 min) and I am using some of the heart reading to take 12.5 mg of Metoprolol. The fitbit thinks I have suddenly decided to do some exercise when I have actually had a sudden increase in the heart rate. It is not AFib (at least the cardiologist does not think it is). It is a reaction to an ablation of a second conduction path through the AV junction. When fatigued, I suddenly will have heart rates of 105 to 115 (a sudden increase of about 25 beats) … fitbit starts congratulating me for getting my heart in the fat burn range … this is my cue to rest and take Metoprolol if it continues for a significant period.

Bought as an upgrade to the Charge 2 because I wanted something for swimming tracking, was hoping to have a nice alternative to the pricier Charge 3 as well as liking the slimmer design. After a couple days I was just annoyed and done. It constantly turns on and drains the battery, it won't stay synced for accurate tracking, the interface is just weird and not as user friendly in my opinion as the Charge2 I had. The physical design of the slimmer screen makes less sense when you realize that they have to make it THICKER to fit all the bits in and the bump this makes on the underside prevented it from moving. Which sounds like a good thing, but it basically suffocated the skin and caused a raw spot. Not worth the effort to keep fighting with it. Luckily I'm within the ridiculously short return period BestBuy allows and will be taking it back in the morning.

Diego, tech, did a good job installing the new Fitbit on my computer. Unfortunately, the Fitbit wouldn't sinc to my computer. After calling the tech at Fitbit, I followed the tech's instructions, but still couldn't get it to sync----even though the tech said I did everything correctly! I don't have a smart phone & was told that could be the problem. I had the first generation 4 yrs. ago & did sync with my computer. So Fitbit tech thought that could be the problem! Since I only had 2 days to return the NEW FITBIT, decided I better return as it was too much money & was worthless if I can't sync the Fitbit! Diego did a GREAT job of helping me---I was so sad I had to return----will continue shopping at Best Buy in the future! PLEASE DON'T PRINT MY REVIEW AS IT'S NOT DIEGO OR BEST BUY'S PROBLEM!

Does what it says I does. I don’t even feel like I’m even wearing it sometimes because it’s so comfortable. Charges fast and last me at least 3 days before I need to recharge it. I could have even went another day. I just decided to charge it at 40% at night before I went to bed. So 4 good days you can get out of this watch before you need a charge. I tried 4 days. This is how I know. It went to 9% before I went to bed. In an hour it was charged to 92% so I put it back on my wrist to see how many hours I sleep that night. Next day tells me 7 hours 50 minutes. Easy to clean. I don’t swim with it but rain and splashed water does not bother it.

Records steps when sleeping, over-records steps when you aren't. It's not over 100 steps from my bed to the bathroom and no matter how hard I try, I can't walk 4 miles on a 2-acre lot when taking the dogs out to poop. This is an over-priced heart monitor and even that feature seems suspect. There's no way to adjust the sensitivity of the device, changing from dominant to non-dominant (physically or in Settings) makes no difference. Going on the Fitbit website I see many users have complained about the same problems for which Fitbit's reps attempt to explain it away, but wind up admitting their devices are inaccurate. Don't buy this. There are free apps on your iPhone and Android that are capable of doing a much more accurate job of tracking your activity.

This is a great watch for those who want to track fitness without an advanced user interface. Display is in Black & White, and only scrolls down. This watch tracks all important fitness categories like Heart Rate, Steps, Sleep, etc. My only major complaint was that while the watch received notifications from my phone, they were not kept til they were cleared. There is a time limit for when you need to view them before they disapper and you must check your phone. The lack of ability to find your phone or vice versa is down grade, in my opinion, from my original samsung watch... that's common to all fitbits though But! The price is great, and the battery life is at least 5 days. Overall, this watch was well worth the money.

This was my first time purchasing a fitness watch. I'm 5'2" and have pretty petite wrists and was worried about a large watch being ugly and uncomfortable. The Inspire HR is a great size and the band fits great. I wear the device nearly 24/7, because the sleep tracker is one of the best features. The battery lasts for about 3.5-4 days before needing to be charged and it is fully charged within an hour. The app works well. I wish this device had GPS built into it so I din't have to use the app on my phone, but it isn't a deal breaker, as I use my phone for music while I workout and go on walks. It truly helps keep me motivated to get my 10k steps in a day and I believe it was a huge help with me losing 10lbs in the last 2 months. I highly recommend this FitBit product.

I have had experience with many versions of the Fitbit brand and this is the best yet! The most responsive and accurate step count I’ve had prior to this was the Alta HR. This one is the best bc it’s small like the Alta Hr but gives you a similar display like the Charge HR. It doesn’t have the floors feature like the charge model but if you’re looking for compact and efficient this is you’re best bet. It even shows text messages like charge but in a compact model. I don’t like bulky like charge or ionic. My husband likes the bulkier ionic however I prefer the daintier inspire. It’s waterproof and that is a feature I’ve been waiting for from Fitbit for a while. Love this light weight model!

My fiance and I both got Fitbit Inspires to help us with our fitness journeys. They're easy to set up, lightweight on the wrist, and worry-free since they're waterproof. The only issue I have with it is sometimes the face doesn't light up when I turn my wrist, which is supposed to happen. Also, sometimes when I'm scrolling through menus, the face will just turn off, which can be frustrating. All in all, it tracks steps fairly accurately, the app is great and has more features than I would've expected, and really helps me to see the trends of my eating habits/exercise habits vs weight loss. I paired this with the Aria scale and like them both very much!

I love this Fit Bit. It's a little bit thinner than the Amazon Brands, which I love. I chose to go smaller instead of getting the Charge HR or Versa because I wanted something minimal for working out at the gym. I noticed the watch face and additional features drain the battery faster depending on what you program it to keep track of. It's a little difficult to start and stop an exercise; that's been my only challenge. The battery lasts up to 3-4 days as promised if it's not syncing all the time. I've worn it in the swimming pool, washed dishes, and given cat/dog baths with it. So far it's been an overall great experience. No glitches yet.

The Fitbit Inspire HR is my favorite tracker yet! The tracker has everything that I need, including heart rate. The color of the tracker (Lilac) is the same color as the digital reading. I use it for the alarm clock, steps and mostly exercise/mileage. It tracks better than my Apple Watch 4. And it is waterproof! I started using the tracker Friday and within the three days, it is still over 50% charged. I would HIGHLY recommend this product for all ages.

    Heart Rate won’t work.

Bought the Inspire HR to track heart rate while working out. It freezes up during every work out. Will say 98 bpm for 5 minutes, then jump to 170 for 5 minutes and stay there. Letters and heart go grey and stop working. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the sleep mode works great. But I will be returning and getting an Apple Watch that will be accurate. Called Fitbit customer service 3 separate times and they had no idea how to fix it and never responded by email like they said. Useless customer service.

This is definitely not a smart watch, it is a fitness tracker and that is that. I was downgrading from the galaxy watch active because of samsungs failure to launch the bp feature on time for phones less than an s9, so it was a big down grade. my immediate feeling was that it felt plasticky, but at this point I still love it. it took a little while for it to become comfortable (the bump on the back takes getting used to) but at this point I can wear this comfortably day and night. if you want to receive text messages keep looking, but if you want a fitness tracker this is perfect and reasonably priced.

So after breaking the strap, on my Fitbit Alta, I went in to get a new one but discovered it was discontinued. I figured this was close to it, so, why not? Well at first I was excited because it has more features and you couldn’t beat the price. The downside is it’s bulkier and it doesn’t rest comfortably on my wrist. Doesn’t quite wrap around it evenly as the Alta did. The edges of the “face” of the inspire pop out too much. Not aesthetically pleasing on the wrist . I bought different straps online to see if it would work, but alas the head is too bulky. If I could switch it for an Alta HR, I would.

I was contemplating buying an Apple Watch, but decided to try a Fitbit first because I had heard good things about them. I absolutely love it. I am obsessed with the sleep tracking, it is fascinating. It encourages me to drink more water because it will track how much I drink. I like the reminders during my work day to get up and move because I spend way too much time just sitting at my desk. I love the bike tracking where it even provides a map of my route. I can't wait for summer to get here to get outside and be more active. I also loved it so much, I also purchased one for my mom for her birthday.
