Good Alternative to Charge 3

I upgraded from the zip to the Inspire HR. I like the features of this device particularly the heart rate and sleep patterns. The battery recharges pretty quick 1.5 to 1.75 hours. It needs to be recharged every 4 - 5 days. The wristband that's including irritated my skin. I had to get another wristband to use it. The numbers on the device are a little hard to read, particularly when you are working out. The time display is large and easy to read, but the other numbers such as heart rate and steps are small. Given the difference in price between this device and the charge 3, I think this is a good choice.

I have had experience with many versions of the Fitbit brand and this is the best yet! The most responsive and accurate step count I’ve had prior to this was the Alta HR. This one is the best bc it’s small like the Alta Hr but gives you a similar display like the Charge HR. It doesn’t have the floors feature like the charge model but if you’re looking for compact and efficient this is you’re best bet. It even shows text messages like charge but in a compact model. I don’t like bulky like charge or ionic. My husband likes the bulkier ionic however I prefer the daintier inspire. It’s waterproof and that is a feature I’ve been waiting for from Fitbit for a while. Love this light weight model!

It's great to have a FItbit again - I like being able to track steps, sleep and heart rate. It's easy to use.
The color choices are a bit limited!

Bought my wife the Inspire fit bit to replace her old Alta which no longer held any charge. She is very happy with the device and was particularly excited about being able to keep track of her sleep. The other positives she mentioned was the small size, the ease in switching bands and being able to wear the tracker while swimming. I have the Versa so each day we would try to see who can out do each other on the various stats. It’s a fun way of motivating each other.

It helps me to keep track of my daily steps, lets me track my sleeping habits and keeps my daily weight log. The other thing that I like is that I can log in online or on my phone to read my stats. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't show me the time unless I hit the button to show the information on the clock face. It used to show the time when I turned my wrist towards me but it doesn't do that anymore. Also, if you're out in the sun, you can't read the time as the screen is too dark. Other than that, I'm very happy with this Fitbit.

I received this item as a Christmas gift, and I've been wearing it every day since. I love how the battery last four to five days before I have to charge it, and it is extremely accurate measuring heart rate. The heart rate that my Fitbit measured was the same as what a doctor was reading me at a check-up. I also really love the sleep measurement feature and it's really helped me understand my sleep patterns. The only thing that I don't like about this, is that sometimes it takes multiple attempts to sync

I had to get something to track my heart rate as my doctor required the info. I did the online research and the Inspire came up as the best for my needs. I'm a smaller person so I wanted something with a slim profile. This fit the bill. So far its been 1 month. I have had no issues with the unit. It tracks my steps, heart rate, calories, etc. I have checked the heart rate against my higher end blood pressure machine and its usually within 4-5 points so pretty accurate. So far so good. I would recommend.

This has the right amount of bells and whistles for me. It's simple to operate and keeps relatively accurate records.
I had been using a Fitbit Flex for a couple of years before getting this model, as I was interested in the heart rate and more in-depth sleep info, and it has delivered as desired.
For heartbeat measurements during high-motion activities like running and lifting (or any time there's lots of sweating) I've found that wearing a wrist sweat band in front of (not over) the band is helpful.

I'm waiting for fitbit and google to make a legit watch together, but this is a solid starting point. The HR monitor is great the step counter is a bit off. I mainly bought it for the HR monitor and the Sleep calculator which are the two great selling points of this. The step tracker is a bit wonky but works better than any others that I've used. The screen goes black sometimes but you just have to change the watch face through the app to get it back.

I waited a long time before buying this item because most similar items I looked at over a two-year span either lacked some of the features I wanted or were too expensive. This Fitbit Inspire HR Activity Tracker is very easy to use and is perfectly-designed. It has all the features I want at the right price. It stays charged for a very long time and the display is sharp. You only have to charge it for a little while and it's ready to go from the box to your wrist, lasting for days. I'm looking forward to exploring all of the features in my new Fitbit!

While the unit seems to measure things like heart rate and steps accurately, the device itself is not easy to use. Tipping the device towards you to see the display rarely works. Tapping the display does make it light up, as does pushing the button, but the display disappears extremely quickly. This makes it very difficult to scroll through the on screen menus - and frustrating.
I’ve had several Fitbits over the years, and also wear an Apple Watch. I find the Inspire (and my Charge before it) more accurate than the Apple in regards to steps and certainly exercise. Since I have heart failure I track heart rates and such much more closely than how running or cardio exercising work, as I can’t do those. Others can compare those for you.
So why do I say Fitbit is better for measuring exercise minutes? Fitbit counts them without much prejudice, whereas the Apple Watch only counts exercise minutes that meet some unknown high standard, a standard my cardiologist does not want me to be at. So a 20 minute walk might be fully counted by Fitbit, but unless you go according to its pace the Watch might only count 3 minutes. The Watch beats the Inspire in many other ways of course, but is much more expensive.

This is a very non-flashy product, but it has some serious perks for those looking for a basic fitness tracker--it has sleep tracking, which things like Apple Watch still doesn't have effectively (recent model does, but the battery doesn't last more than 18 hours). This keeps a charge for days. It has a good heart rate monitor and tracking, which is why I got it. It does exactly what I needed with no bells and whistles.

I had a Fitbit Alta for years but wanted one with the heart rate. I was a bit hesitant because my Alta had phone notifications & the Inspire HR didn’t list that on the box. Happily , it does although I would like to slow it down a bit. (By the time I feel the vibrations, the number is gone). I will say changing the band is not as easy as the Alta or the Charge 3, but I do prefer the smaller size. It does seem to hold a charge longer.

I was shocked at the great price for my Fitbit-Inspire HR activity tracker. I previously had an Android watch and it was way too bulky...this is not too big on my wrist and very easy to read. The best part is that it keeps me motivated when I check my steps!
I can also check my BP, heart rate, calories and am able to challenge my friends on hikes or runs which is fun. I would recommend to friends.

This is a pretty good Fitbit. I haven't owned any others but this one does a pretty good job of covering the basics. It measures heart rate, steps taken, calories burned and your exercise. The free mobile app is basically essential to have because the screen is rather small and the controls are limited.
Overall I am happy with this purchase, but there are a few drawbacks. The screen will not stay on for more than 2 or so seconds without you tapping it repeatedly to keep it on. This makes it really hard to track your heart rate during exercise and is a pain in general when trying to check things. The heart rate sensor is also occasionally a little inaccurate which causes problems for me as sometimes it will register me in a different zone than I am actually in during exercise.
Other than those issues this is a great product especially for the price. I wear it always unless it is charging. Even to bed (it tracks your sleep) and in the shower.
I would recommend this product to anybody who is wanting a cheap Fitbit or to just spend a little money to see how they like having one. I would assume the more expensive models will definitely be more convenient and accurate, but this one isn't too bad overall especially for the price.

I bought this to replace my Fitbit that I had for appx 3-4 years. I chose this over larger version or Iwatch because I prefer the slim indiscreet version. I use it mainly as an activity tracker , sleep monitor and heart rate monitor. I don’t use it for reading texts or emails. Overall I like it. Perfect for the use I want out of it.

So when I was first looking at the fitbits. I have a samsung s3 frontier watch. I was looking for something smaller, because the samsung watch was a little to big for me. This fitbit is small and awesome it last about 4 days on one charge and it's so light and small it doesn't even feel like you have it on. I would recommend this fitbit to anyone looking for a simple small watch.
