Bullets:
In starting to work out more and attempt to be more healthy, I went on a search for a tracker that would help me keep count on calories, HR, workouts, etc. I did appx. five hours of research. I started by looking at this Fitbit Inspire HR, but reviews were sometimes less than desirable. I went into the more expensive watches (Garmin, Samsung, Apple Watch) but wasn't satisfied with the battery length (I was hoping to take this thing backpacking for multiple days).
I considered the Charge 4 but determined the GPS capabilities weren't my number one priority, as I usually have my phone with me and don't need the watch to have GPS as a standalone feature. Plus, it syncs to or from Strava, which tracks all of the things I want anyway. The altimeter reading was also attractive, but again, the battery life while that's tracking was quite low and I didn't want to have to charge it while backpacking.
So, after many hours, I came back to the Inspire HR and determined I would take my chances despite some of the less-than-thrilled reviews.
I have had a great experience with this thing. With notifications, lift to wake, and exercise recognition/GPS connection to phone turned on, I get about 3.5 days out of it (yes, this is less than the 5-7 promised on the description). I don't mind this at all. It tracks my heart rate, workouts, and calorie intake/output and even if it's not 100% perfect it's been so helpful to see what I'm doing throughout the day and how to maintain some of my healthier habits.
On a three-day backpacking trip I turned off notifications and lift-to-wake and it went from 100% to 80% over the course of the trip - this is where the 5 to 7-day battery life comes from. I will say that while the calorie and step count felt accurate, the mileage was off. This is likely because my steps were much smaller while climbing mountains that when I'm just out on a walk, so it was basing the mileage on my normal stride length, thus thinking I'd walked much farther than I actually had. Not a big deal.
The sleep tracker is not incredibly important to me but it is pretty cool to look back at my sleep patterns and habits.
Lastly, the app. I love the app. I love that I can easily track meals and calories in the app. I love that it keeps track of all of my activity and eating habits for me and gives me all sorts of information. Further, the timer and stopwatch and alarm systems are great.
Overall, really happy with this.

I've always wanted to own a Fitbit (or something like it), the appeal of tracking my heart-rate, calories, steps, exercise was hard to resist. Unfortunately this product been a bit hit or miss for me.
The Biggest issues have been: severe battery drain, sync issues, and turning off (might be related to battery drain).
-- Battery drain: Oh man. This thing eats the battery like crazy. It can be sitting there, not having any use, and die within a few days. The disparity between when you charge it and say a day later is usually more than 50%. This is with GPS and notifications disabled, and a recommended clock face applied (apparently ones with more stats drain the battery more).
-- Sync: It's bad. More than half the time the watch will not sync to the app. It will constantly fail.
-- The App: I like that I have all my stats in an easy interface. However with the latest update it takes several minutes for my stats to update, if at all. You also have to be connected to the internet to use certain features. The female period tracking is nice, but editing the days of your period sometimes doesn't work. It will reset the moment you back out with your saved changes.
I've used it consistently. There's some scratches on the face of the Fitbit which hasn't impeded anything, but I have also somehow chipped the button the side. It also still works. It's been submerged, rained on- definitely lives up to being waterproof.
For what it is, I like it and it works. I dislike the silicon band, but that's easily-ish fixed. Not sure if it's worth retail price, can't really recommend this product at it's current price with the problems it has.

I had the Fitbit Zip for quite a few years. It was ok, but the Inspire HR tracks my sleep and heart rate as well. I love the fact that you can change bands so easily and there are plenty of optional bands available for purchase. The phone app gives you a quick record of every category. The only negative is that it is a little confusing when trying to track your exercise from the unit. The nice part is that you can customize it to your common exercises. Also, the Lilac has lilac text and the background has a purple tint. If you don't like the lilac band, you can always change that.

I come from a fitbit alta which I used mostly to track my inactivity and sleep. These features have gotten better with the Inspire HR. I can now track my different sleep patterns with some discretion and my activity levels. I enjoy seeing my resting heart rate to my current heart rate as well. The features have come a far way from my previous experiences with the different technologies. If you are looking for a small device that you can forget about on your wrist, except for the charging every five days, you will enjoy the fitbit inspire hr.

Initially I just needed a pedometer and heart rate monitor, but I’m using it as a minimalist watch too. Very comfortable as it’s very light an I almost don’t notice that I’m carrying it.
I love the fact that I only has to recharge its battery every 4 or 5 days
Interface could improve. I would suggest keeping the button for selection only and adding a second button to return back to previous menu

I wanted something that was lightweight, easy to use, and would let me know when I have msgs on cell my phone. I'm hearing impaired and have my phone set to vibrate, but if it's not close to me, I don't always feel it. Having the watch vibrate right on my wrist works great for me. An added plus is the countdown clock and alarm. Now I don't need to depend on others to wake me up in the am. Haven't quite gotten to the health features of the watch yet as I am a caregiver with limited time to myself at the moment.

I purchased the Fitbit Inspire HR as a birthday gift for my mom. I have a larger face (Charge 2) Fitbit but wanted to get her the smaller more compact device since she will only be using it for the step counter. I instantly fell in love with this smaller Fitbit so I am planning on purchasing this one for myself as well. There appear to be similar features but the sleek design on the Inspire HR seems worth it. The band replacement has small components to it that you have to be mindful of, but definitely not a deal breaker.

I was wanting a fitbit to help me start a healthier lifestyle and I am so glad I chose this one!! I was torn between the Inspire HR and the Versa Lite, but ultimately chose the Inspire because it had everything I needed and I love the smaller size. I am not a watch person, but the Inspire HR small and slim design is perfect! The Inspire HR logs and recognizes many different exercises, tracks my heart rate, keeps a water log and even tracks my sleep among other great features! So happy with this purchase and have had no issues!

Got this for my husband mostly so we could track his sleep but it has many other really cool features - you can hook it to your phone so it can to tell you when you get a message. My husband had to download an app (google play for android) to see the results on his phone and it was easy enough for him to figure out so it must not be too hard :-) It also measures steps and heart rate and all the things the item description said. He hasn't been brave enough to see if it really is waterproof but the rest seems to work just fine :-)

I have been using this Fitbit Inspire HR tracker since August of 2020, and this beast of a device is still running strong after almost 1.5 years of usage. The heart rate sensor works like a charm and the automatic workout tracker has been a real help. Though I still have certain reservations about the FitBit Premium subscription they offer, the basics that this device has to offer is a real bargain.

Purchased this for our teenage daughter to better keep track of her health during the pandemic and virtual learning. It has been awesome!! She loves making sure she gets her steps in and enjoys tracking our hikes. The sleep tracker is a great feature. The heart monitor has been very useful for her. it paired great with her iPhone and she receives her text messages and alerts on her watch from her phone. Overall very happy with the purchase!

Being in my seventies, I found myself not moving around enough. The device has motivated me to walk by showing me my steps, heart rate, and calories burned. Its comfortable to wear (even while sleeping) and the sleep tracking info is awesome with clear notifications. The app is easy to use and with Bluetooth on I have never had an issue syncing with my phone. I have been exercising more, and feel healthier. Well worth its cost.
