Just not worth it.

The mat hold indentations which further make it difficult to move or roll your chair. Its thin plastic that has you constantly fighting your chair to move. Brought 2 one for me and my wife offices will be returned.

From what you have described, it sounds as though your chair wheels are sinking into the mats surface, there are a few reasons why this may occur, for example if your carpet is deeper than the recommended pile type. This mat is designed for use on carpets up to 3/8’’ including the carpet underlay, if placed on deeper pile carpet (over 3/8’’) the mat lacks support and may dent or turn upwards in places. We would therefore suggest measuring your carpet type to ensure that this is the best mat for you. The grippers on the Advantagemat are there to help prevent movement, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the mat will stay in place on all types of carpet. However, there are a couple of tips we could offer to help prevent movement, including re-measuring your carpet to ensure that the padding and the carpet is up to 3/8 inches. You can also reposition the mat so that the grippers are entering the carpet pile in a slightly different horizontal/vertical orientation, which may allow them to grip the carpet better for added stability.
