A rather polarizing flick in my book

I'm one of the few people who feels this way, especially among Cronenberg fans. It's unmistakably a Cronenberg flick, but something about his just never worked as well for me as it did for others. Regardless, it's a film any sci-fi/horror/Cronenberg fan must see.

Horror.

A brilliant but eccentric scientist begins to transform into a giant man/fly hybrid after one of his experiments goes horribly wrong. This time the special effects are up to par, and the gore is in your face.
