I really like this mouse. It's extremely accurate, and fits my large hand well, but I do have a couple issues. The main issue I have can be fixed/addressed with a software update. The issue is with the actual OP software. You can adjust the DPI, The RGB, lift off distance, and even angle snapping, but you can not setup profiles for each game. You are limited to three profiles. They can be accessed via the software or the mouse. Ideally, you would want a particular profile to load when a certain game or application is launched. For example, for everyday desktop use, I have my mouse setup for 5200 DPI, precision on, default buttons, but when I play COD WW2, I play at 5600 DPI and "precision" off, and normally have the buttons programmed actions other that forward/back and scroll. I have to manually select the profile I want, and also manually disable "precision" via the windows mouse settings app. This is not something I care to do each time I play a game. The second thing I don't care much for is the location of the mouse sensor. I normally use a G700s (wired), and the sensor is near the top of the mouse, making my movements quicker, and I don't have to move the mouse as much to make the movement. Upping the DPI helped a little, but this is probably a muscle memory issue, and in time, I will get used my new Clutch 2. Overall it's a very accurate and comfortable mouse. I enjoy using it.

Never heard of this company sort of did an impulse buy on this on my way out of store, it hasn’t made it to be my daily driver but I use it on my second guest gaming pc. It’s a larger mouse and that’s why I bought it because I have large hands, setup is easy and app for the mouse is pretty cool. Can adjust colors dpi and host of other things you want.

The Fnatic Clutch 2 is the latest gaming mouse from one of the world’s leaders in eSports. Fnatic was founded in 2004 and is best known for its championship League of Legends and Counter-Strike eSports teams. In the past few years Fnatic has begun supplying gear designed specifically for professional gamers. The Fnatic Clutch 2 is a right-handed high performance gaming mouse designed to deliver three key attributes: reliability, comfort and accuracy. It is ergonometric ally-designed to provide both control and comfort during long gaming sessions. The rather tall (43.4mm) central curve fits perfectly in your palm and the 65.7mm width will accommodate even very narrow hands. The very large Teflon pads on the base insure smooth, precise movements over any surface. It is ruggedly built with polycarbonate, ABS and texturized rubber to take all of the punishment that hard-core gamers might inflict. Visually, the Clutch 2 is a restrained but very attractive design with a nice muted black rubberized body with non-slip sides, a touch of changing RGB colors at the scrolling wheel and left-side Fnatic logo and a contrasting yellow-orange base. This is not a mouse that screams, “Look at me, I’m a 14 year-old geek and I need lots of bright colors and angles in every part of my gaming gear!” The Fnatic logo says all you need to tell the world, “I know what I am doing and demand the best in my equipment.” Overall, the impression is very sophisticated, high tech and would be just as much at home in an investment banker’s office as in a college dorm. Here are the key specifications: • Fnatic Clutch 2 Full Size Pro E-Sports Gaming Mouse (Model MS0002001) • Pixart 3360 optical sensor • Omron D2FC-F-K (50M) switches • NXP MCU • 8 MB memory • Max 12000 CPI resolution • 100 CPI /step resolution increments • 250 IPS speed • 50G maximum acceleration • Up to 12,000 frames/second • 1000 Hz polling rate/1 ms response rate • Lift detection options (2mm or 3mm) • RGB control • 6 Mappable buttons • Custom macros • Adjustable CPI/DPI on the fly • Fnatic OP eSports software • Texturized rubber, polycarbonate and ABS • Size: 131.9mm long x 65.7mm wide x 43.4mm height • Cable: 1.8 meters long • Weight: 97 grams • Two year warranty The optical sensor used in the Clutch 2 is the best available. In a top quality gaming mouse you want optical (LED), not laser illumination. The reason for this choice is that optical sensors track much more accurately over all surfaces. Laser mice are fine for uniform, hard, surfaces but begin to show resolution errors of 5-6% on softer surfaces. Optical mice with top quality sensors have resolution errors of much less than 1%. The Clutch 2 optical sensor can process up to 12,000 frames per second and boasts an adjustable CPI (Count per inch) of up to 12,000. That means that you can set the mouse to move up to 12,000 pixels for each inch the mouse moves. In reality, you would probably never set the CPI above 3,000 and most use settings of 1,200 to 2,000. But excellence in two other measures is necessary to achieve greatness in a gaming mouse. IPS (Inches per second) is the effective speed of the mouse – the maximum movement rate at which the mouse can track movement. The Clutch 2 has an outstanding 250 IPS. The final factor is the maximum acceleration at which the mouse can accurately track. 30G (30 times the force of gravity) is considered excellent. But the Clutch 2 can handle a mind-blowing 50G acceleration rate. Put it all together (superb optical sensor, amazing CPI, stellar IPS and king-of-the-hill acceleration) and you can see why pro gamers designed and love this mouse. Finally, the best gaming mice are all wired, not wireless. Why? The tiny lag in processing the signal of a wireless mouse interferes with game play at the highest level and also reduces the all-important accuracy essential to dominating your opponents. The Clutch 2 has a 1.8 meter wire and that wire is carefully coated to minimize friction and insure durability. OK, that’s a lot of numbers and technical jargon but the bottom line is that you will find this gaming mouse very capable of out-performing anything you currently own in any situation. Download the free Fnatic OP software to easily customize the six buttons, x-CPI, y- CPI, lighting effects and other performance options and save your combination in one of three profiles. Fire up a graphics-intensive game, select the profile you have selected for that game and your Clutch 2 gaming mouse will come alive, roaring with power and giving you the satisfaction that you made a great choice. Even if you spend the majority of your computer time doing boring (but money-making) activities like spreadsheets, word processing, coding or just web browsing you will still find the features of this superb mouse a great aid in those endeavors. Plus, you will smile inwardly, knowing that you can instantly turn into the king of gamers at will! When you consider all of its power and functionality you will agree that the price of the Fnatic Clutch 2 is an amazing bargain. I can enthusiastically recommend it for both serious gamers and for power users of all other software!

The Fnatic Clutch 2 is pretty basic compared to some other gaming mice in the fact that it only has the basic buttons. However, using the Fnatic OP software you can map those buttons to do whatever you want, even changing the right and left click to be something else. The software also allows you to adjust the color pattern of the mouse wheel and the Fnatic logo on the side as well as the performance such as the DPI and lift off distance per profile. The button just behind the mouse wheel allows you, by default, to switch between three profiles on the fly. Making it so that you can have one fine tuned profile, one standard profile and one super fast profile if you choose so. The other great thing is that the profiles are saved to the mouse, so that you can easily use it on any computer with your customization without having to have the software installed. The shape of the Clutch 2 is comfortable, but I found the slight difference in the Flick 2 more my style as it has a little ledge on the right side for my other fingers to grip. Though the Flick 2 claims to be so that you could use it with the left hand, the additional buttons are still in the standard location for a right hand, making it a bit awkward even still. They both feel to be the exact same weight and everything else about them is the same, so it really comes down to preference on feel between them. As for weight, they are slightly weighted compared to a basic mouse. However, not adjustable like some other gaming mice. On a standard flat surface I felt that the weight helped keep better control, though on an odd surface like my couch armrest it started to feel like I was exercising. I’m still experimenting with the different profile options and remapping the outside buttons to perform different tasks depending on what game I am playing, but it has definitely upped my game.

The new FNATIC Clutch2 is one of two new Fnatic Gear gaming mice. Fnatic Gear is outfitting the Clutch 2 with the best optical sensor on the market, this thing can track any movement your hand can make! The PixArt 3360 optical sensor has a maximum CPI setting of 12,000, and it can be adjusted in 100 CPI increments. The sensor can track movement with up to 50Gs of force and has up to a 12,000 FPS frame rate. The cable is rubberized and comes with a cable tie so you can use the full length (it is long!) or gather it to your desired length. The The main processor is a NXP 32-bit processor an improvement over the old Holoteck unit. Omron D2FC-F-7N’s are used for the main switches rated with a fifty million click lifespan The whole mouse has a two-year warranty very generous for a gaming mouse. There are a load of features such as the ability to adjust lift-off-distance, DPI and RBG color Schemes. The Omron D2FC-F-7N switches have solid clicks and give you great sensory feedback improving game play and reducing missed clicks. There are are two thumb buttons on the left. The scroll button has just the right tension and no extra play, it is also clickable. The button behind the scroll wheel allows you to change profiles and is almost level with the mouse surface to prevent accidental changes during gameplay. The profiles, RGP colors and pattern and the DPI as well as the lift-off are set up inside the FNATIC OP software. The software is early access at the moment and still being developed. I did not have any bugs occur with the latest version. The same software can control the settings of FNATIC keyboards. Tech Specs (From the FNATIC website) Dimensions W: 66.2mm L: 131mm H: 43mm Weight 97g Sensor Pixart 3360 Resolution 12000 CPI Increments 100 CPI/step Acceleration 50G Frame Rate Up to 12000 fps Cord length 1.8m Polling rate 1000hz Response/Speed 1ms / 250ips Processor/Memory NXP / 8mb Switches Omron D2FC-F-7N (50M) Warranty 2 years This mouse just feels good in my hands, if you have a smaller hand the Flick2 may be a better choice. There is just the right amount of RGB lighting without being distracting. The FNATIC OP software is well designed and allows fine tuning of the mouse for any player, in addition once you set up the mouse you can uninstall it if you want or even move the mouse to different systems and it will keep the settings without installing the software. This is a great gaming mouse for at a very good price point, I highly recommend it.

    It’s my daily

TL;DR Shape matters. This is my second Clutch 2. My first example had loose, rattling M1 and M2 buttons. I tried 1 mouse before it, looking for a new daily. I knew the Clutch 2 was a match when I tried it initially, but rejected it due to build quality. 3 mice later, the Clutch 2 is back on my desk, daily, like it should have been years ago. When the rubber grips on my Steelseries Optical wore too far to use, I tried a Logitech G Pro Hero. The sensor was great, and though I adjusted, the shape left me wanting. So, I sought a mouse with a shape similar to the Steelseries. I purchased a Fnatic Clutch 2 directly from their site. I was slightly off-put by how my hand seemed to melt over the mouse, but it’s synergism with my senses was undeniable in game performance. Alas, it had an excessively rubbery scroll wheel, and M1/M2 that would rattle when repositioning my fingers. I returned that mouse directly to Fnatic where I’d ordered it. Then I tried: •Zowie EC1-B. The surface is sometimes slippery and shape is not ideal with my grip. The center of mass is rearward of both the sensor and center of comfortable grip. It became my daily anyway, probably for being a good hand-rest (large). •Steelseries Rival 310. Mediocre sensor. I used it occasionally for macros. •Coolermaster MM710. My pinky rests (begrudgingly) in one of the cutouts on the rear right side. There’s a reason the Model O only has cutouts on the top. This Clutch 2 from BestBuy, my second example, has uncompromised build quality. My grip has changed with time, that my hand no longer melts over it, but it works well enough and should get better with time.

I got this after my more expensive Razer Deathadder Elite broke after only 4 months. The shape and size is a huge improvement for my hand. Since I have long hands that aren't very thick or meaty, this fills the volume inside better allowing for a more natural and comfortable filled hold for a true palm grip. This eliminates issues I have with smaller mice (even the "large" Razer Deathadder size) that cause finger and wrist strain for extended play, especially after being on the computer at work all day. The software is a bit lacking for customizing the mouse but it gets the job done. The only thing I dislike is the travel distance on the 2 thumb buttons before the switch is engaged, you won't want to use them for anything requiring a twitch reaction in games.

Good feeling FPS mouse for medium to large hands

I bought the Fnatic Clutch 2 for playing FPS games because I wasn't satisfied with the Logitech G300 or Razer Abyssus that I had previously bought. The main reason I bought the Clutch is because it has two extra buttons on the side which don't get in the way when aiming. For RTS and MOBA games, the G300's extra top buttons were much more useful, but for FPS games I really just wanted a couple buttons that could be reached without taking a finger off the fire button. I also enjoyed the feeling of the Clutch 2 in my hand. Your mileage will vary depending on how large your hands are and how you hold the mouse, but for my moderately sized hands it feels better than most other mice I've held because it fills up my palm and doesn't move around at all in my grip. The sensor quality, polling rate, DPI, etc. are all clearly designed for FPS gaming as well. You can adjust the DPI in increments of 100, and the polling rate is 1000 which seems to be the gold standard nowadays. The sensor is a 3360 too which makes this a very good mouse for the price. It's got a few less doodads than other, more expensive mice, but the features that it does have are all top quality so if you only need two extra mouse buttons then this could be the mouse for you.

This mouse is amazing quality and mine had very good QC. The unboxing experience was very premium! The mouse itself is for medium-large hands, the side grips are very nice rubber that, for me with sweaty hands, can say is very grippy to use. Clicks are very crispy. Cable is not very flexible and scroll wheel is on the meh side. Great mouse however! I used to be on the lightweight trend with mice but 90g is not that bad for a big mouse and the cable can always be swapped for a paracord.

Bought this mouse open box under 45$. It has some weight to it, which i think is very comfortable for my big hands and short gaming sessions. I don't like small or low weight mouses. The mouse glides smoothly through a Fnatic mat I bought and it responds accurately to my commands. I like the fell of the wheel and its DPI setting are more than adequate for my needs.

Comfort: Fits great in my hand. It's a bigger mouse so it works out great for palm grip users. Thumb buttons are positioned a little high on the mouse for my liking but still easily accessible. Quality: The thumb buttons are a bit mushy. Other than that the mouse is fantastic. Customization: The software is pretty rough to be honest. On top of that Windows Defender hates it and think it's a virus. In total...you can do better.

I have been skeptical of big-name branded gaming gear for a while now. The quality and performance have been inconsistent up to this point. Full disclosure: I follow e-sports and Team Fnatic is among my favorites. However, this does not affect my opinion on this mouse. So, having said that, I do like the look of the mouse. It has a matte plastic shell with orange accents that do not attract a lot of fingerprints or smudging. The RGB lighting is phenomenal. The colors do pop and the Fnatic symbol looks great. But that’s just looks. As far as comfortability, I have medium size hands. The mouse fits comfortably overall and it is on the light side, which I appreciate. I use a light paw grip style and my fingers reach the main buttons just fine. Clicking is satisfying and responsive. The cable is a bit stiff and can affect precision. The cable may pull a bit changing pointer placement, even when using a flexible mouse bungee cord, I still was not able to keep it from snapping back in position. So that means that your hand must always hold or rest on the mouse. It’s a small thing, but it’s there. The mouse wheel feels grippy and responsive. One thing that annoyed me a bit was that the side buttons are placed too close to where my thumb sits, and I click the back button by mistake occasionally. This can change how I grip the mouse therefore affecting the ergonomics, undermining the design. There is a DPI button that can switch between 3 settings while using the mouse on the fly. However, if you do get this mouse, you must absolutely get the OP software from Fnatic to fine tune the performance and RGB lights. This app alone pushed the score by half a star. Although not perfect, I’d still recommend it for the price and even more if you’re a die-hard Fnatic fan.
