This keyboard is smaller than what I'm used to, but my daughter says it works great for gaming. She loves all the different color options. The wrist cushion is super comfortable and also detachable if you prefer not to use one. I found it odd not to have the number keys but my daughter doesn't seem to mind for her gaming purposes. The keys themselves are a little taller than what I'm used to, but I'm always on my laptop which has nearly flat keys, none the less they are very responsive. All around nice keyboard.

I have used many keyboards over the years (since 1983) and this is my current favorite. I like the size with no numeric keypad to save space. who uses this anyway? I have a couple of external keypads for this purpose which I prefer for gaming so this is ideal for me. Small but not too small it adds space for arrow keys and has many shortcut keys as well. The feel is good and plenty of lighting choices to fit your needs. Great for gaming. Not cordless but when gaming who has time to worry about charge. I would rather just play.

Cool-looking and functionally solid

There are two things about this keyboard that I like a lot. The first is the sound and feel of the mechanical keyboard. It is reminiscent of the old IBM keyboards that came with the original IBM PCs, and I just love retro-like gear. The big difference, of course, is that those keyboards were much larger and heavier. There is no numeric keypad on the Mini-Streak (unlike the full-size Streak), but I am not an accountant and don't really need that feature.
The second feature of the keyboard I like a lot is the color backlighting, which can be changed with software. There is not really a useful function here; it is simply cool-looking, especially at night in a dark room.
In terms of performance compared to other keyboards, I would say that it is as good or better than any I have tried over the past 20 years. It would be difficult for me to judge whether the keys are quicker and more responsive for gaming since I am not a big gamer. But my son is, so I had him try it out for a couple of weeks. His verdict was the same as mine--it functions as well as any gaming keyboard he has ever used.
So, in my judgment, the Mini-Streak performs as well any keyboard out there but is much cooler in terms of looks and feel. I am glad that I own it.

Great Keyboard easy to use

The keyboard is a great keyboard the keys feel heavy when typing the keyboard itself feels sturdy. I have been using it for a few days and the only thing that I need to get use to it the missing 10 key on it. The response from the input is quick and the color schemes are nice from the rgb I like the included palm rest for when I need to do any long term typing or sitting at the computer long period of time.

One of the best I have ever owned

This is one of the best keyboards I have ever used. I have had brown switches before, but for some reason these keys are just so much more fluid. It is hard to explain, but there are just no issues with miss-types. I use the keyboard for gaming as well as for school so that is a huge plus.
Before picking this keyboard up, I had the Corsair K95 platinum(which was the brown switch version), but they space bar was incredibly clunky so i exchanged it for this keyboard.
I also used to own the Corsair K65 lux which was amazing, but after a few years an upgrade was needed.
One con that is also sort of a pro is the wrist wrest. So it is great that it is adjustable, but it sort of just sits in place on the grooves. I move my keyboard up and down on my desk to put my homework down or eat food and it comes off. I wish it was at least a little magnetic or had a locking mechanism for it to stay in place a little better. If it weren't for this, I would probably have given it a 5 star rating.
I am a huge corsair fanboy, but this keyboard kind of came out of nowhere and it has been the best purchase I have made in a little while.
Also one other thing, the RGB software is still incredibly new(as of this review 6-10-18), it is somewhat limited compared to the custom profiles you can make on corsair software, but otherwise it can fit your needs nicely.
Lastly, it is great to see another good ten keyless on the market. It isn't really in "style" right now, but if you prefer 10keyless, this will be a perfect fit for you.

Best Keyboard I Have Ever Used!

I exchanged my Corsair K70 m.k2 for this keyboard and I could not be happier! The Cherry MX Brown switches are incredible feeling and are spaced perfectly. Build quality is great and I love the included completely adjustable wrist rest. The RGB is great, and I really like the removable name plate on the back of the keyboard, if you take it off, it shines very nicely on the wall behind the keyboard. Overall, I am very impressed with this board and I highly recommend it!

Great of Gaming, but keep it out of the office

This is the first non-10 key keyboard that I have owned. I like the space savings and portability. This keyboard is right at home for gaming and I really appreciate the positive and responsive key feel without the annoying and obnoxious "click click click" of the more traditional gaming keyboards.
The construction of this keyboard feels pretty solid, even the included wrist rest. The USB connection to the computer unplugs from both ends, which makes it very travel friendly and there is a channel underneath the keyboard for the USB for a clean and well thought out connection.
My two complaints are minor, but still noticeable. The ergonomics just feel a little off. Maybe its me being use to a full size keyboard, but I have tried all height positions for this keyboard and just find myself searching for a comfortable position. This may be the reason that I find myself missing a few keystrokes here and there and frequently using the backspace. The second is that there is not a USB pass through. It seems that this is a standard anymore and is an amazing convenience for cable management and expanding the usability of the keyboard.
The FNATIC software says that it is in early access, and isn't bad. Its simple, pretty straight forward, and a good start, but I hope that they don't hang their hat on the current software and keep developing it and adding features.
Overall, I like this keyboard. It will be an amazing upgrade for my travel gaming laptop so I am not bound to the inherit terrible keyboards of laptops. I have a wireless mouse that I will pair it with for travel and I will never have to miss a night of gaming fun, unless I want to. That being said, I can't see this keyboard taking over my home office duties, which is also where I game. The lack of 10 keys, the ergonomics, and items that make this a good gaming keyboard unfortunately seem to take away from every day usability. There is a 10 key option to this keyboard and I which I would have been able to pick that one up, but it was unavailable. If you want to game hard in limited space and don't want to drive yourself crazy with key clicks, this should be a keyboard you consider. If you need a keyboard to use in an office, to do school work, or need a more broad use keyboard, you may want to broaden your search.

Fnatic - Mini Streak Professional Esports Wired Gaming Mechanical CHERRY MX RGB Brown Switch Keyboard with RGB Back Lighting - Black
I have been reviewing the sister peripheral to this keyboard the Fnatic Clutch 2 mouse. I liked the mouse and my only real issue was how it fit in my hand. It is a well built product that I can recommend. Here on the other hand we have the Mini Streak Professional Esports Wired Gaming Mechanical Keyboard. Once I set it up it has become my primary gaming keyboard. This version does not have the number pad. There is a second version that is the same keyboard that does. And that was my only issue with the keyboard was the missing number pad. I have always had number pads on my keyboards so I reached for it many times and of course it wasn’t there. Later I started to use the keyboard numbers but that was never as fast having a real number pad. Still I am common in that my gaming PC is also my office PC when I work from home. It not convenient to have two keyboards in use at the same time. But I have to say in gaming it allowed me to have more keyboard space. I never use the number pad when gaming so I could side the keyboard closer to my mouse pad. That help centered my finger positions to my monitor and made my gaming position more comfortable. I bring work home but I built this PC for gaming first and office work second. In gaming and for every other use but office work I was just fine without the number pad. The RGB lighting is bright with quite a few presets and the software will let you customized to whatever color fits your personal preference. The lighting bleeds under the keys but I never saw that as a problem. I would like to give a shout out to the wrist pad. It is soft and feels very well done. It is small like the keyboard but sits on a tray with magnets. This allows you to have some adjustments for where the pad is best setup for each user. So it’s not one size for all but a pad that is the correct size for they keyboard but can be placed where it does the most good. I would like this option on all keyboards especially with as much time as I spend in front of a computer. Another nice feature is where there is exposed plastic its feel strong and it not a fingerprint magnet like so many other designs. The Cherry Brown switches are new to be as most mechanical keyboards come the Cherry Blues. The Blue versions have a more clicky feel and are louder. The Browns tend to be softer so you do bottom out which does make a sound. I won’t say which is better and I would suggest you try each to decide what is best for you. Like I said earlier this has become my primary gaming keyboard. This is mostly due to the shorter length and the wrist rest. The keyboard feels build very well and should last a long time. This is a nice keyboard that if you can do without the number pad I am sure you will be very happy with your choice

Solid Gaming Keyboard with Interesting Footprint

Having tried several mechanial keyboards, I was skeptical that this device would be any different in terms of use. I was wrong, This devices most interesting feature is it's size and footprint. It's smaller than other mechanical keyboards but not too small as to make it difficult to use. Being more compact gives me more room on my keyboard stand for mouse movements which is a good thing. I would reocmmend this keyboard for anyone looking for a smaller footprint.

I was not overly familiar with the brand when i saw this on the shelf. I was there to replace a Logitech (I really like their roamer keys). I usually get a really awkward feeling when trying to use a keyboard with Cherry keys, but man this is a great board and it felt very natural.. It has great feel, very responsive and the function/f1-12 keys are a nice touch. The software is as good as any of the big vendors and the wrist wrest is what really puts this board over the edge. It's firm, yet nicely cushioned and is attached with a weighted metal tray. This adds a ton of stability to it like it was just part of the board to begin with. As a long time Logitech user, this has completely turned me 180 degrees into alternate keyboards.

After two previous returns with competitors keyboards, I found a keeper. Two year warranty with awesome software.
I so hated a previous keyboard where the controlling software had to be registered before you could down load and was buggy.
This Mini has on-board memory, set your key colors, macros, then shut down software for zero impact on your machine. I have high hopes for these keyboards, very well built with typical Cherry Browns in this model. Always looking...

Great gaming RGB Mechanical Keyboard

This is my 2nd mechanical gaming keyboard and I am really enjoying this one. The keys feel great cherry mx switches. The fnatic software was easy to use and setup my preferred rgb. I prefer a nice solid color but you can choose from any amount of cascading colors in a variety of patterns. This is considered a "mini" keyboard thus no numpad section. Its meant for gaming though. Top right section of the board you have three buttons for muting your mic or volume and the third is branded "tournament" mode which you can configure with the software. What this does is you can enable or disable specific keys that might cause you issue while gaming like the windows key or such. This is now my main rig gaming keyboard it fits my needs nicely and I would recommend it as a good quality product. Also came with a nice wrist rest that is comfortable.

I've bought plenty of gaming keyboards, and plenty of times I felt like I got ripped off. Advertised as mechanical, but not really. Lighting yes, but only if you download their bloated controlling software. Keys were not really the quality that they should have been for such an expensive keyboard.
Fast forward to this keyboard and the presence in the gaming industry is all that you need to know. This is everything you would hope for and really expect for a gaming keyboard. No disappointments.
Frankly I only wish I had bought the 10 key version only because I use this so much for everything including gaming. I type a lot of emails and documents at work, this comes in really handy having such a decent keyboard to type from. And it can be a gaming keyboard later if I put it in my bag and take it home/bring it in from home.

For the price this little keyboard is worth it. its fancy without being fancy, i guess. the thing is it works great and its solidly built well. I could care less for lights but it is pleasant top have i guess. I have to turn them off with any keyboard when gamine because it does distract me from my over all play. But when typing, i'll turn them on. I originally want the logitech g roma keys because they don't have much play compared to the MX switches but for the price it defiantly worth it.

Not long ago I wrote a review about the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop, demonstrating my lack of knowledge in the arena of PC gaming. I've spent no small amount of time learning about gaming on PCs--building your own rig, benchmarks and FPS performance indicators and the monitors with the best refresh rate for the highest demand games, but I've never fully understood the obsession with wired mice and keyboards (and specifically, mechanical keyboards). I decided it probably wouldn't be something I could read about and understand, so I did what any reasonable human being would do, and got my hands on some true gaming peripherals from a company called Fnatic to see if the hands-on experience would shed any light on the topic for me.
I'll start with this--although mechanical keyboards speak to the reminiscent part of my brain when it comes to computers, the reminiscent part of my brain is relatively small and I've never found them particularly enticing. Again--I've read and watched A LOT of reviews on these, and lately have been interested in checking them out. As a point of reference, I typically prefer a chiclet-style low profile keyboard, something like the Apple Magic Keyboard or Logitech's Craft Keyboard.
The Mini Streak is a standard keyboard without a number pad on the right--and that may be a deal breaker for some right away (Fnatic also makes full-size keyboards with 10-keys, for what it's worth). I would describe the keys and key travel as the opposite of my preferred low profile keyboards, but I was surprised that after a significant amount of typing I didn't feel any fatigue in my hands. This is something that I've noticed as I've become accustomed to lower- and lower-profile keyboards, over time; the latest MacBook and MacBook Pro keyboards are an example of my ultimate keyboard because so little effort is required to engage a key and register a key press. Any time I stray away from a lower profile keyboard, I find myself struggling to, after some time with the keyboard, push the keys down in order to register a key press--and while that probably sounds whiny and stupid, it is nonetheless something that I've found in recent years.
That said, no fatigue at all with these keys, and I credit the Cherry MX Brown switches and solid wristpad design for that. Speaking of the wristpad, the Mini Streak comes with a detachable wrist rest that can be customized to sit right below the keyboard (flush with it), or further away with an inch-and-a-half gap between the bottom of the keyboard and the top of the wrist rest; this is a nice design touch and helps accommodate folks with larger hands.
Fanatic's OP software allows for maximum customization of the keyboard, including key binding, customized colored lighting (down to the individual key), and the ability to deactivate certain keys with Fnatic's "Competition Mode" so that no accidental system actions are triggered during your gaming sessions. And, while it took more time than I expected to get the software installed and running on Windows, I finally got the job done and was able to fully customize the keyboard to my liking.
Inside a gaming session, the Mini Streak operated no differently than any other wired keyboard, from my perspective. I understand that avid gamers may notice a difference between a 500Hz and 1000Hz polling rate, but I'm not one of those people. I also thought about using the Mini Streak in place of my standard wireless keyboard but was less excited about that experience than I was replacing my regular wireless mouse with a gaming mouse.
So at the end of the day, I'm not convinced. The Mini Streak is certainly a well-built product that is comfortable to use and performs well during a gaming session. But, from a performance perspective, I'm not convinced it's much better than any other wired keyboard unless you're into the customization that it offers along with the Cherry MX Brown Switches. At $100, I can tell you I've purchased more expensive keyboards that don't do quite as much, but I don't find this particular keyboard to be among my favorites.

I have been using this keyboard for a few weeks now and I have to say its a very well built and solid keyboard buttons are responsive and the RGB lighting is bright and I have to say very nice I have used the Corsair keyboard and was not too happy with it and the price point for the m.k2 was not worth it in my opinion but I got this keyboard on a good deal 65$ but even the Reg price is still worth it.

I usually stay away from the "tic-tac" keyboards, but this board has won me over. Great spacing and portability. Tried it for a while, and will be using going forward.
The only downside so far is that the rubber feet on the wrist rest came off fairly easily. I hope that does not reflect quality of the rest of the components going forward.
Besides that, great board. Love the lights!

My fnatic ministreak keyboard stopped working. I was in the middle of a csgo match and my keyboard shut down. I tried restarting it but it wont turn back on. My girlfriend and I have the same exact keyboard and her's still works perfectly fine. Mine broke and I did nothing to it.
