Unlike a lot of people, I like Roger Moore's James Bond. However, this particular movie is not one of his best efforts, nor is the storyline that great. But, if you like Bond movies, you'll enjoy at least part of it.

As a kid, I loved Roger Moore as Bond, because he was the current Bond, but I grew to enjoy Connery and others as they came and went. I would still like all of the Bond series in Steelbook Blu-ray.

This classic Bond tale looks great on Blu-ray. Though not the best 007 film, it is still wildly entertaining. And the Best Buy exclusive steenbok cover is gorgeous!

This movie was entertaining with beautiful snow mountain scenes. Very entertaining.

I'm a big 007 fan, and Moore is not my favorite, but he does well in this outing. The title song is one of the best in the series!

Bond the way he should have been in Moore's tenure, but still the tendacy for cheap laughs.

My family likes 007 movies.. So of course we purchased it!

I was in my teens when the Roger Moore films hit theatres, so he's the Bond I grew up on. Revisiting them as an adult, I've sadly come to realize his adventures were juvenile, especially as compared to when I later started watching Connery's films (which sadly also deteriorated to juvenile towards his end in the role) and enjoyed the more serious tone of his films and scripts. But there's one Moore Bond film I spent hard-earned cash on to own on Blu-ray and that's this one. In sort of a shock, the filmmakers opted to go 180° in tone from the previous film, Moonraker, when they developed this one. And I'm so glad and grateful they did. Moore is brilliant in this film which offers far less ham and finally some real grit to his version of James Bond. He's also appropriately is hands off with the young ice skating ingenue, perhaps the only humor in the film but it's organic to the story, not shoveled in camp. On a side note, since I don't enjoy Connery's last, Diamonds Are Forever, nor any of the rest of Moore's Bond films but do enjoy On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I like to pair this after watching Lazenby's solo outing as Bond as a double feature. Not only does that make for a chronological viewing of Bond films, but the very beginning of FYEO makes for an excellent segue from one film to the next.

While it was cool to see 007 in space in Moonraker, the producers wisely decided to only do it once & return Bond to his down-to-earth espionage roots for the next Bond film. Bond (Moore) investigates the sinking of a British ship with the help of the daughter (Carole Bouquet) whose parents were murdered conducting a similar investigation. This film is actually closer to Fleming than most of the other Bond pics, which certainly makes it noteworthy.

Great movie. Always thought best Roger Moore movie. Great effects and one of the best Bond theme songs. Love the steel box. Great extras on the DVD and love having thedigital option.

Arguably the best of Roger Moore's Bond films, this one is set in Greece. It stars, of course, Roger Moore and Carole Bouquet, and it also has a great villain. A classic Bond film!!
