GREAT movie and so dope on 4K with surround sound. These dudes drive slow compared to me (in my imagination), but such a well done film regarding an important time in automotive history. Well acted, top notch production values, cool cars. If you drive a Tesla, this is not the film for you.

I purchased this movie to test out my new home theatre system which included a 4K UltraHD TV and Blu-ray player, and an AVR with Dolby Atmos. The picture quality on this disc was very sharp but it was the Dolby Atmos sound effects (which seemed to be coming from overhead) that were the most impressive. A great movie particularly if you're into car racing and Carroll Shelby.

This is the best auto racing movie i've ever seen. The audio and picture quality of this 4K Bluray disc is fantastic. Played on my home theater system put's me right in the drivers seat and i love every minute of this great film masterpiece. Needless to say i am beyond happy with this movie purchase and also love this Steelbook packaging too.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one. The glory days of American cars in Formula 1 racing from 1966- 69. The 4K UHD bluray does the moment proud with robust sound effects of revved up engines and visual depiction of race scenes during the grueling race at Le Mans. This one takes your home theater video and audio system for a ride while also retelling an exciting story which is historical based. This blu- ray is definitely worth buying.

Great movie. The (mostly) true story about Carol Shelby, Ken Miles and the Ford Motor company teaming up to take on Enzo Ferrari and his championship Ferrari cars in the 1966 Le Mans race, and the challenges, tensions and politics that went into the making of a championship level performance by virtue of the legendary Ford GT40 race car. Excellent performances. Gorgeous cinematography and phenomenal sound. This movie and Blu-ray/4K set is highly recommend.

If you've read the book, Go Like Hell, then you know the story this movie is based on. But unlike many Hollywood movies, based on fact, this one mostly deals with fact while bring the characters and machines out in a cinematic miracle. Great performances all around and the cars are excellent. I lived though all this in the media as a youngster and this movie is very good. By the way, modern DVD digital prints are as good as the Blu Rays, so why pay more?

If you love cars and/or racing cars then this movie is for you, Gives life to the story and mechanical achievements of Carroll Shelby with his best friend/driver Ken Miles. Awesome performances by Christian Bale (Ken Miles) and Matt Damon ( Carroll Shelby) that will make you snicker and cheer for the Ford GT40 underdog at the LeMans! Even people I know that don't particularly like cars enjoyed this film because of the story line and phenomenal acting.

Love the movie. We got it for a friend. Really didn’t like having to order on line & pick up When I called the store they said they could not help me I had to do it all online I am not used to doing anything online but I figured it out, I just wish we could somehow go back to normal and get into the store. I had to purchase this as a gift but I will not be purchasing anything from Best Buy until I can actually go in and buy some thing

If you are interested in cars or racing then you'll enjoy this movie. Tells the story of the first Ford GT40 and why it was developed. Entertaining true story of their rise to the top and subsequent dominance of Le Mans in the late 60's, ultimately all because Enzo Ferrari personally insulted Henry Ford II. A level of dedication and commitment to racing we likely wont see again due to the more immense costs associated with modern racing.

The development of the Ford GT is the heart of this movie and its victories at La Mans France. The only other movie that really covers the race is the move La Mans staring Steve McQueen, and the car is the Porsche 917k. This movie is very interesting from the point of Ford getting into International Racing, besides Ford/Lotus. If you have the money you can order and buy a brand new 600+ horse power Ford GT, this movie will want you to own one.

A true racers story about engineering a winner and putting aside the corporate diection and associated bias that in many cases does not allow the best and brightest to work the problems as they are too truthful and not a suck up. I love it and though not a Damon fan believe he did a pretty good Shelby. This is what makes America great in terms of engineering and Shelby has led the way out of the box of corporate ridigity to creativity

In movies that tell a historical story, I’m always able to forgive the fictional dramatization because it can make the story more interesting. It can make the facts harder to discern though. If you are interested in the story, you’ll love this movie. If you’re fans of Damon and Bale, you’ll also love the movie. The race scenes are great and Henry Ford II is as dislikable as any auto czar from the 60’s might have been.

Bought 3 movies. "Arrival", a sort of scifi movie with Amy Adams. You are never sure throughout the movie as to how it will conclude. recommend it. "The Art of Racing in the Rain" great movie told from the viewpoint of the owners dog. Recommend it for family viewing. "Ford vs Ferrari" Excellent movie, great cast! Should be named the Carroll Shelby Movie. Matt Damon and Christian Bale are superb. Recommended for formula 1 racing buffs.

Ford v Ferrari (2019) directed by James Mangold is the story of how driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) and Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) navigate the Ford Motor Company and compete against Ferrari in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. An absolutely incredible film! Picture and sound quality especially are next level with this release. The 4K slipcover case includes great artwork and nice embossing. A must-have for physical media consumers!

A great movie. It can be a little hammy and self-aggrandizing at times, but it's pure entertainment even for someone who couldn't care less about racing...what more can you ask for? The 4K may be an upscale, but it has its moments. Being shot digitally (and recently) the movie looks very attractive and while I couldn't try the Atmos, the 7.1 core was everything you could want from a soundtrack.

My son is a car guy and he saw this movie in the theatre 2-3 times. The day it came out on DVD he told me we had to get it. I have not purchased a lot of DVDs lately as we mostly stream our movies, but my son loved this movie so much we had to add it to our collection so that we can watch it anytime. I only buy versions that come with a digital copy as well so I can watch the movies on my iPad when traveling.

I love cars and racing and the blend with a great and original real life story is the trifecta. This is a true story that is told on perfect detail and harmony. Christian Bale and Matt Damon plod the support of cast members are exceptional and the cars and racing magnetic. I highly recommend this film. I bought this dvd set for my father since he loves racing for a special treat while at home for Covid.

i really really liked this movie. Went with the whole family when it came out and even non-car people loved it. Purist say they changed the story, but so what... the core story is there.. people just need to relax and enjoy it. Makes me appreciate my Shelby GT350 even more.

Great Movie. some of the accelerated (no pun), timeline could be confusing. But keeping an open mind gets a motor head back to the intent of the movie which is specific to the GT40 and how Ford got to LeMans to win. Overthinking the Shelby relationship with Ford will only add a lot of questions as to why you are seeing Cobra's being driven and built with no reference too how that became part of the Ford heritage also.
