This is a very informative look at Ford's desire to create a vehicle to compete with Ferrari and win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Enlisting the help of car designer Carroll Shelby, this is a great look inside how Ford nearly stopped this new vehicle design over the egos of their executive officers.

Very insightfull and exciting movie, Much thought went into this movie and the connection with Shelby.

Good dramatization of the story that led up to this moment in racing history. I remember watching a lot of the real race which was telecast by ABC Wide World of sports! Good action sequences, but just a fair score on the human interest parts. Still think there is no equal to Steve McQueen's Lemans...

If you are into classic cars, Matt Damon and Christian Bale and racing, then this is a movie you want to see.
