My favorite Tom Hanks movie (maybe with Bachelor Party too), already had it on regular BR but wanted to upgrade it to 4K for the better quality video and sound.

I have purchased this movie on every new medium that comes out and I was not disappointed in the 4K version. This is the clearest, best version of Forest Gump that has been released.

Timeless movie and story about friendships and love over many years through the eyes of everyday man, FG...everybody knows the cast and everyone relates to this movie in their own way.

Just a great and funny (at times) movie! Interesting how they look to show some events in history through the eyes of a supposed low IQ man. Good story, good acting, good all around!! If you have not seen it, it's past time you should!

This movie is a classic and for the price, you can't go wrong. If you honestly haven't seen Forrest Gump yet, you need to plan a movie night and pick this up. Its an excellent film that is fun for the family and touches upon alot of themes.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies - and I was so excited to get the new 4K version...but, man, what a disappointment: The resolution is fine, yet the colors-correction, HDR, and soundtrack left me wanting. The blacks were so muddy, as to be nonexistent, if the darks were deliberately crushed in the film-print, then they should have gone back to the original negatives to re-time the whole 4K. Additionally, the overall color-shading had no defining scheme. With all its unique times in history, they should have gone back and applied unique color-schemes to help define those moments. When I think of a movie with a great color-scheme, IT (ch1) jumps out. It's HDR and color palette are insanely wide and great (Just check out the scene where Beverly's father is sitting in the living room shadows. He's completely visible, but only just enough to lift him from complete black. And the sky is not "blue," it's teal...giving us an off-kilter feel). I seriously wish that Zemeckis had allowed the color-timer's do their work with the original negative...that is, unless it was truly shot with crushed blacks and washed-out white. :-(

If you are a fan of Tom Hanks this is a must see . Probably one of his best works . After first seeing him in bosom buddies I would’ve never thought he would’ve become this great of an actor . Great movie

Actually this movie is one of my favorite movies. the story is amazing, breathtaking. and tom hanks is rocking it! every human on earth should watch this movie!.......

If you enjoyed the movie, this is worth getting. Picture looks great and the soundtrack is awesome. Got it at a great price too.

I think this is one of the coolest most awesome stories ever told. Its hard to believe its been over 25 years ago. 4k makes it even better.

One of my favorite movies of all time! It was a great price especially with all the bonus material with it. I can watch it for hours and hours! Excellent!!!

If you haven’t seen this movie then now is a great time to watch it! The 4K doesn’t do too much for the movie except give it more color contrast. Well anyways, it’s a great fun film for the family

A strong script and great acting bring the movie to life. I don't know that I can recall a movie quite like Forrest Gump. I felt the full range of emotions, but humor is what stands out in my mind. I think you'll enjoy this movie.
