I bought an Amazon Firestick which comes with 30 days of free Sling TV. The first night I spent over three hours trying to create my sling account and get the sling app to work. I followed the directions on the Best Buy receipt, then the ones on the Firestick, then I even tried with my MacBook and finally my iPhone, with ZERO success. I then tried to contact customer support for Sling TV through a live chat, which turned out to be a huge waste of yet another hour just to finally be told that my account wasn’t created, which is the problem that prompted my call in the first place. I then waited till the next day and called their support number, the first one of two which told me they no longer have anybody monitoring that number (even though it’s STILL the one listed on their app that you’re supposed to call to subscribe to channels), the other number I finally connected me with a human who told me the only thing they can do with any issue concerning the free 30 day offer is take my info (which I entered at least 30 times already on their site and app) and create a “ticket” that she would submit to their support team and that I should hear something back from them in 1-3 business days but I am welcome to keep trying to resolve it myself in the meantime in case I have any luck. The Firestick itself seems to be pretty cool with simple set up, but when it comes to Sling TV, I would give a minus ten stars if it was possible for user friendliness. I’m quite computer savvy too so I can only imagine the frustration someone who is not really technically up to date might experience.

Its an excellent choice over cable. Only downfall is that it kicks off too often. You just have to go back in but it can be a pain.
