Sling TV Live Streaming Service for 30 Days came with a TV I purchased for my parents. They however could not figure out what to do with the Sling TV offer as it was confusing and not geared for folks who aren't familiar with that kind of technology.

It's tv online. Nothing new. Probably used it once.

Needed this item, got it, use it, love it. must buy!!!

Okay but there are several options also avaliable.

Purchased an Apple TV during a promotional period that supposedly included a 30 day free trial of Sling TV. On the receipt, there was no activation code printed. After contacting best buy customer support and struggling to be understood, due to a language barrier, I was told one would be emailed to me after 24-48 Hours. I never received one. I wish I could have given Sling TV a try seeing as it was allegedly included with my purchase. A friendly word of advice to best buy, move your customer support to the USA. I would rather return a product or shop somewhere else than deal with the sub-par overseas customer service call center again.

Not that impressed with sling tv...there are better services for better prices...maybe in future it will be streamlines but seams they didn’t ask “normal” people which channels should be together in blocks.

If you have more than one person watching tv in the home with different interest then you’ll need both packages and probably want to add some things. Not much cheaper than cable. Defeats purpose of streaming.

Sling was not for me. I couldn't find much on it that I liked to watch. I cancelled it when the free trial was done. I had problems navigating through it too. I'll stick with my Netflix and Hulu.

I bought 4 firesticks and the all had a 30 day free card. Only Catch is you get the free 30 days after you pay with a credit card for a subscription.

Got this as a free bonus on my Apple TV purchase. I have no cable (cut the cord), so thought it was a great deal for me to watch the FIFA 2018 World Cup. Wrong! They streamed the games but I think they purchased the cheapest broadcaster package. You can’t watch a soccer match (or any contact sport, really) without commentary and with an aerial view the whole match. Anyway, watched 2 games thinking things will change and just gave up. I’m in the market for a TV streaming app and Sling was an option until this experience. I’m not sure if they’re worth it for Sports.

Frustrating choice in packages and confusing to get what you want. It’s not even close to ala cart. Also no local networks. DVR hasn’t graduated yet either. Still has growing up to do. If you want a near cable experience without the cord go with Direct TV Now. You get more choices of packages and cheap premiums. HBO is $5 a month! Drawback is Direct TV Now’s DVR but it’s in beta so not finished product yet. Hoping it turns out better than it is now.

IN MY HONEST OPINION, SLING TV IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING THEY'RE TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO PAY. IF I WANTED A CABLE LIKE EXPERIENCE, I WOULD DOWNLOAD AND RECOMMEND TO ANYONE DIRECT TV NOW APP.

It's free as long as you submit your payment info for when the time period is up. I wanted to try it with no hassle and was disappointed it wasn't an easy thing to do.

Sling is alright but honestly it's not that great. You have to chooses either orange or blue and you always seem to be misusing some channels you want
