If you are a sports fan & want to cut your cable provider, this is a great option. I can watch some local channels plus still catch my sports. I do wish more options for other channels were included or available. Overall it’s a great option for non cable users.

I went in to bestbuy to buy a specific tv “ the Vizio p50” ended up leaving with an awesome LG sk9000 with a beautiful 4K picture awesome sound and a magic remote that connects to everything on its on. I would highly recommend this TV. The value is unbeatable. The saleswoman Amber in Jacksonville was so helpful and very knowledgeable and wouldn’t let me leave on Super Bowl Sunday without being satisfied. She offered discounts and rebates and everything she could to make sure I was happy.

This is a little difficult to review. The trial for 30 days free is excellent value. It's on my new roku tv in a secondary room so doesn't get used that much. No local channels with sling so you need an antenna. The 2 packages are $25 each. ESPN and Disney only on orange package that only allows a single stream. Fox sports, FX and a few more only in the blue package which allows 3 streams simultaneously. You can subscribe to both for $40 which isn't bad. There are ala carte add ons like a cloud DVR. I will probably do more free trials of other services before I decide to officially cut the cord. You can easily cancel trial from account but need to do it before the end. It will continue till the end of the period.

Sling requires a broadband home internet connection of at least 5.0 megabits per second 25 Mbps or higher is recommended. Rather than cable Watch on a tv connected device, like a streaming stick or box, Smart TV or game console that runs the free Sling TV app.

Really great picture quality after careful personal adjustments that are complicated because DirecTV input isn't as good as the internet signal. Also volume level varies within individual channels from DirecTV, looks like my new premium HDMI cable may help.

We purchased this tv after reading some great reviews. We like to picture and sound quality and my husband likes the smart tv features. The stand is a bit flimsy, which is our only complaint. If you were to mount it on the wall I’m sure it would be just fine.

I have had Sling for many years now and it has not let me down. It it definitely a la cart, so if you are someone like me who prefers that, then I suggest going with it. However, if you want everything bundled and easy, this may not be the product for you.

Bought for my mother who doesn’t need Bells and whistles, or an incredibly sharp picture. For the price point it works just fine. The one thing we wish it had was an option to put up media from a mobile phone. But that I am sure would raise the price point.

This TV was the perfect TV for my bedroom. I actually have a decent size room so I needed something a little big for a bedroom but I didn’t want a living room size TV in the room. After much debate I love the 4K, I love the lighting, and it gives me tons of options.

Came along with new Samsung TV. Get a look at streaming service without using Comcast/cable provider. Who knows when cable tv charges will make the cable cutting my next move. Free trial gives me my first chance to consider live without my cable provider

This is a good service to use if you don't want all of the channels that Cable TV makes you pay for that you'll never watch. However, they do not carry all of the channels you may want. TCM is a good example. So, it's based on your desires in TV watching.

I expected a better picture quality because of the good ratings from other owners. Was a little disappointed at first but after tinkering with the picture settings, the quality improved. The sound is decent but I will purchase a sound bar to enhance it!

My son and i rented this movie from Red Box after i was initially skeptical from the reviews. After watching the movie i liked it enough from to add it to my 4K Video Library. i was curious how the movie would play out without having a Spiderman cameo.

Sling TV is pretty good if you want a few cable channels but don't want to pay the hefty price tag of cable. The only thing that I don't like is the channels that you get. I know that there are other packages you can choose from but those also cost more.

Solid quality tv for the price Used mostly for gamimng. Amazon Prime not worth my time. But if you use it, this is the device for you. Great picture, really clear. Xbox is a work around some Amazon problems.(no youtube) Good quality tv for the price

Grateful that this was included in my tv purchase. Looking to cut the cord and glad to explore this option. Not sure if it’s my internet connection or something on their end but the picture blacks out intermittently. Still nice to channel surf again.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because the picture isn't great. It's pretty good and the TV has lots of options, but the picture is a little underwhelming. Still, once I get more (regular) 4k content on it, I'll probably like it better.

I did NOT know what Roku TV was/is. I Just wanted a TV for the spare room to hook up to Direct TV. in my price range the Sales guy said this TCL was the best. I told him what i was using in for. got home and started the hook up process and Roku wouldn't let me on-line register. had to call them, they said i would have to pay a small service fee. NO - I just want regular TV, they said i couldn't do that?? i did by pass this and pair it to direct tv remote. except i have to use TCL remote at the home page. i should not have been sold this TV for what i was using it for. it works fine and if hooking up ROKU is what you want it will be great for the price. but not for use for cable or direct tv only.

Truth be told Sling Tv has come a very long way since way back when Dish Network took charge of their operation. It's future of television. I need more time to give a detailed review, hopefully it'll be all positive. For now though, let me go Slingin'.
