Allowed me to “cut the cord” from the major satellite providers who have become way too greedy, in my opinion. I do feel Sling could significantly improve upon their User Interface. I am confident that in time... that will come to be.

Was using a friends password for his Sling account for a while, but finally ventured out and got my own account. can;t complain, its nice to have something that isn't killing me with the cost like a cable package would. All the channels I need - as my dad always said "Kids today have too many choices. In my day it was chocolate, vanilla or a smack in the mouth". I think he would approve of this. Few choices, but only the ones I want.

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before deciding on this 55" curved TV. I learned that most everyone thinks Samsung is superior to LG. Second, most everyone said curved TV was not necessary. I put it up on the wall in a big room over the fireplace and it looks awesome! Curved TVs cost a little more than regular flat screens and I didn't mind paying a little extra because it is different and aesthetically pleasing.

I only have streaming so this is a nice to have - still the full package is $40 a month - I think basic cable in my costs $50, so a little more for the local affiliates plus major networks - but a free month is a free month...

This tv has a better apps to work with, however the only criticism i have is with the legs. They are rather cheap (functional, but a bit cheap). Almost recommended to hang this one by mount instead of setting it on a table.

Sling TV is a great option for those who want to court cut, and live free of cable and satellite dish pricing! I recommend it to those who want to live free, but it’s not an all out solution to every media options. Good stuff!

First let me say this. You have probably heard that this particular model has Gray uniformity issues and the rumors are correct. I may have hit the “panel lottery” but my panel has very little uniformity problems. That aside, this tv rules. Dolby Vision and HDR content look incredible. Deep blacks thanks to the local dimming. Smart platform performs well. Build quality is excellent, the metal gives this model a very premium feel.

Cut cable a few years ago and have been using off-air antennas ever since. This free 30 day trial of Sling is cool. No issues with signal drop outs and being able to watch on mobile devices anywhere is a great feature too!

One lesson of life seemed to have been "you get what you paid for". This last TV purchase did not figure into that statement. Due to an accident our previous TV met an untimely accident which forced us into an emergency replacement. We "needed" but finances didn't allow lots of latitude. Major surprise we got a larger screen and quality results for half of what we spent before. Result= we got a lot more than we paid for!!!!!!!!

The biggest issue with this service (at least here in Denver) is that local channels are not available without using an antenna. But the cloud DBR worked great and picture quality was good most times with occasional breakup.

Seen all the reviews, and was worried about the black levels. I bought this TV because we normally watch TV with light on so black level shouldn't be a problem and picture is great. We have watched several movies in the dark and don't see the problem with black levels, maybe its because of being older and vision not as good. Early 50's and do not use glasses except reading. Have only had it for 2 weeks now but love it so far.

I have been a faithful HP laptop owner for several years now. While researching laptops for this recent purchase, I discovered this one and fell in love. The design is great. I love the color.! The keypad is great, love the backlight as well. Really enjoy the fingerprint unlock function. Quick startup. The screen display in laptop and tablet mode is great. Perfect screen size for me. I am extremely satisfied with this laptop.

I received this free trial of SLING TV with the purchase of a new TV. I thought it was okay, but I don't see paying $25 a month for either the orange or blue package, I think $25 a month for both would be a stretch for me.

This is a good service,m i just have no need for it. If this is something that fits your needs, i would highly recommend it, unfortunately, it does not fit my needs, so i can not see paying for something that i wont use.

I am still pretty new to Sling but it seems to offer a lot. At this time I am not sure I would recommend it past the free trial stage. My recommendation would be a maybe, depending what other streaming services you already use.

Since we really don't know everything about the TV yet, we have not used Sling much. But, what we have seen is great. Wish we could go to a site and see what is the best way to enjoy all that this TV offers. Thank you!

Compared to like price tiered TV's, this model, at it's sale/discounted price was a standout choice. The performance is more than compatible to what would be TV's priced many times as much. Absolutely a recommended buy.

I've been wanting to cut the cord for some time and this is almost my solution. Lacking a few channels (wife has to have her channels). But paired with other streaming, this is the right start to cutting cable forever.

Overall Im happy with my tv...Mediacom cable doesnt offer any 4K channels so the quality isnt nearly as good...some darker pictures are washed out so its a bit disappointing....Hope it gets better for sure for this price!

We love our new Toshiba 55" 4K TV. My wife thought it was too big for our den but after setting in place she loves it. Our 1080P Sony has a great picture but 4K is that much clearer. Skin tone color is at times erratic. Other than that cannot wait to watch a 4K movie after seeing my Grandson's 4K video game on the screen. My Grandson was so impressed he bought a 70" LG 4K the next day at Best Buy for an unbelievable price!!!
