I currently went off the grid with Satellite TV because of the crazy costs. I bought an HD antenna so I get the local channels & the Sling compliments this perfectly. Gives me Sports & other significant “live” tv!!

TV meet expectation from reading reviews online. Bonus point was the easy sync with Sony AVR system that enhanced sound of my speakers. Very glad to have purchased Sony TV and AVR. Next will be sony 4K UHD player.

The Best Buy customer service was good, I'm an expert in all my tech gear purchases. The only issue was the extended lead time it took on my Soundbar. I'll of course recommend Best BUY TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I bought a Toshiba FireTV & that is a great TV for price it was.The SlingTV came included,but haven't used.I recommend you to you buy at Rancho Cucamonga & NOT San Bernardino because the service there is horrible!

Nice picture but the optical out was bad. I could not use my sound bar. I put the sound bar back on my old tv to verify that it was the optical out and not the sound bar. Returned tv I ay get the Sony or Samsung.

I am quite pleased with my purchase. The TV was easy to set up and the clarity and colors compare favorably with its more expensive counterparts. I got this on a Black Friday sale, which made the price even better.

nothing brings me more pleasure than cutting out the big corperations that charge waaaay to much. in this case .. my premium cable subscription. my bill dropped from over 350 a month ( cable+ premium channals and high spped internet) to 120. sling tv .. once my free subscription is over will run me about 60 with the added premium content i want a month . a savings of 140 monthly. need i say more? i dont think so

We thought we'd been given good information and found what we wanted. Apparently you need to tell the salesperson *how* you watch tv. Our house is small and we often watch from the dining area or different locations in the living area. When you move more than 5 feet to the side of the tv, instead of straight on, the picture goes pale and fades. It was terrible! And I hate the "soap opera effect" (it has a name!) where everything looks overly bright and fake like when watching a soap opera. Maybe that's the UHD but who wants that? Why are tvs being made this way?! We will be returning the tv for sure.

Sling is great and has a good assortment of channels and you get a free 30 day free trial but at this time I can't see myself switching fully to cutting the cord. Sling may be a great option for others though.

I never considered myself as someone who would Sling, but after researching, found I was quite comfortable with Sling versus some of the other options out there. Wish the cloud based dvr held more than 50 hours.

I received this promo after I purchased a new tv. Once I gave Sling TV a try. Best decision I’ve made, I recently returned my cable box through comcast. I’m saving a good hundred dollars an the service is great!

Seems to run well. The options in the tv are pretty cool. I was impressed and had not expected so much from it. We have not utilized all the options but with the ease of operation we are going to check them out.

This application was everything it said it was to be. This app had almost every channel you could think of and some new ones I have never seen. I don't use cable or satellite, So this is an comparable solution

Love the fact that bestbuy was kind enough to give out a 30 day free trail! Thanks! If you don’t have a TV subscription/cable or etc this app is probably the best one in my opinion. Great monthly plans as well.

So far so good. Gave it 4 stars since I haven’t had it long enough to see how it performs long term. Color is just ok. One plus is you’re able to download apps and not confined to only those that’s preloaded.

Model XBR55A8F-----Nothing but great features about this Sony, the picture is bright and jumps out at you, the colors are fantastic. The sound is a step above any TV I have listen to, no need for sound bar with this set. I replaced a 12 year old Sony that was great, this is a great improvement, keep up the great improvements Sony. Best Buy sales and delivery was nothing but the best just like their name.

Like the tv but my AT&T issues have caused me problems. I should be able to access Netflix without using my apple tv. I can not eliminate an extra step when turning on my tv, That screen lists the "Sources"..

I received a free 30 day trial of Sling TV with my new TV purchase. To be honest, I haven't tried it out yet, but the concept sounds interesting, and I am planning on trying to give it a go in the coming weeks.

Overall i love the 82" TV and set up. We were very specific the evening i purchased everything. i told the rep what i wanted to do and we discussed the wires in the wall which i said i wanted. bought the warranties an upgraded to an HD DVD player as well. the installers charged me to put the wires in the wall. when you spend $4500 and tell the salesperson that the wires needed to go in the wall; you don't expect to get charged. The installers talked my wife into a universal remote while they ere there. still have to use the others for volume on DVD and to get Amazon videos on the internet.

Sling offers a great selection of channels plus On Demand & DVR services. I did find that it was comparable to other streaming platforms like PS4, HULU, etc. within the cost. However, since Spectrum came out with the new Spectrum TV App, the cost was much less. Of course the DVR service is no longer in play when switching, but I barely used it, SlingTV is great, but the cost if Spectrum was more appealing for myself.
