Never did get my 30 days free trial, when I called in they said at the end of the paid period try again with your code, would not relinquish my payment. I never re-signed with them went another direction to get cable news and other programing.

Not a fan of sling tv. Others might like it though

Don't use that often. My look at other services ..

I tried this since it came with the TV purchase. I really wanted it to work as I am wanting to cancel cable. I wanted to believe this would be what I was looking for but Sling is still needing a few steps to get ready for me to fully switch.

While the service is affordable, I was really disappointed with their pricing strategy for accessing local TV stations. For example, to get a combo of local TV stations like ABC, Fox, and NBC, you will need to double up on two subscriptions.

Somewhat convenient if you purchased both tiers, however it does not give you anything basic cable won’t, and, for me at least, has a tendency to not always work/buffer......a lot, which when watching “live” television, is super inconvenient

Might as well pay for cable and get more choices. Have received a 30 day free trial twice and have used it next to hardly at all. Glad I'm not paying for it. Happy with my Netflix and Amazon prime. Kids might enjoy it, they'll watch anything.

The price between cable, satellite TV and this service is just as expensive and the variety of channels is limited. In question of local channels, a separate equipment is necessary and that is a very high cost. The service is not recommended.

Compared to other streaming services, Sling TV was unable to outperform. In my area, Sling was missing local networks (NBC, CBS) compared to a service such as YoutubeTV that had all of the local networks and more for a lower cost and better reliability.

Got 30 day free trial of Sling but it’s limted to orange and blue pack and doesn’t include international pack, which is disappointing. BB salesman doesn’t even told that it’s included as part of my tv purchase. Not a good customer experience.

You start adding up all the little things you have to do to “cut the cord” from cable, and you are at, or have exceeded, the price of sticking with xfinity or directv. It’s silly to pay for sling and all the other dumb stuff, and they all offer “upgrades” that drive the price of it all up anyways. You’ll get sick of sling. I did. I didn’t even finish the free trial. It was a huge waste of time just entering the free code in, not to mention setting up an account and being asked several times to upgrade. I gave it an honest four days of giving it a chance. And that was agonizing enough. I wanted to not use it after twenty minutes. Don’t waste the time.

It would be ok if I don’t already have cable, Netflix and Hulu. However, the layout showing what’s on TV is too much like Hulu set up. There’s not that much selection. I have the free 30 days trial. I don’t think I will use it much.

Sling is ok if you are looking for an economical service to provide SOME tv channels. But other streaming services on the market such as DirectvNOW or PlayStation Vue offer a much better quality product. albeit for a bit more cost.

This particular product did not provide any shows or movies that I can't already get with other apps. And compared to the other video streaming apps I use, Sling was more expensive. I cancelled my free trial before it even ended.

I don't like putting my credit out there and then forgetting to cancel it. I figured that if I use an antenna I could get anything Sling had to offer or I could live without. My daughter has Sling, I think she uses it sometimes.

I tried Sling's live sports content and only wound up missing the games I signed up to watch. But you can count on getting lots of repetitive stuff from games already played.

Sling commercials are terrible and the fact is that I would rather enjoy NETFLIX or AMAZON PRIME. Maybe I have given it enough time but Sling is not something I am attached to. If someone wants to use Sling, that's their decision.

Lack of 5.1 (and beyond) sound is a major downgrade from cable, and the whole pitch of sling is to replace cable programming. The bundles add up to close to what cable costs, if not more. I didn't like the user interface.

I already had a subscription to the Sling Cricket package. So Sling would not give me the free month for their Orange or Blue package. I finally spoke to a Sling customer service person who gave me the one month subscription, but then that cancelled my cricket subscription. I was so frustrated that I just had the CDR reverse everything and did not get the free 30 day Sling subscription. Note that Sling has very poor customer service.

If you are trying to stay under $30 a month and you honestly don't have that many shows on different channels, and if sports viewing isn't really your thing, then sure, it's fine. Otherwise, get YouTube TV. It's way better.
