I liked ONE of the music subscriptions offered free for 3 months for making a BEST BUY account. BUT! Signing up for the free opportunity by making a Bestbuy Account had massive security concerns that were met with UNRESPONSIVE consideration on part of Best Buy. 2-STEP verification is easily bi-passed, and changing PASSWORD when recognizing the problem WAS VERY DIFFICULT! Be CAREFUL for SPEAR FISHING attempts that NEITHER accounts Customer Service teams respond too. Great Value but not worth the risk. Privacy Policies change after complaints are submitted, no follow-up, and lack of care unless you actually buy something from the unencrypted SPAM that floods you. Thank you!

Been using Spotify since around 2015 for my music needs, but recently some bugs in the app became quite annoying & since I have mostly Apple devices, I decided to give Apple Music a go. There is a lot to like, but also a lot I really dislike about it. I’ll start with my dislikes: The library tab is set to list by recently added not recently played which cannot be changed. This is stupid, because the playlists I frequently want to play are down the bottom. I agree music with others, music discovery isn’t quite as good as Spotify’s, but definitely not terrible. What I find extremely frustrating is it doesn’t seem to ever play explicit music in discovery or radio. I’m not a child, just play the original. I don’t really like swipe to play next, I much prefer Spotify’s swipe to add to the up next list. I feel like this should just be a setting you can change. Search tab is pretty crap in comparison. Small typos/misspelling won’t show any results, whereas Spotify is great at recognising what you’re trying to search for. The good: App is overall more aesthetically pleasing. I enjoy having light & dark mode. The album artwork is big which I love. Lyrics are much better than Spotify’s even the ones that aren’t synced word by word Having access to music video is great, I especially love this if I’m having a gathering. Having access to higher quality playback is good too, although AirPlay not supporting Dolby Atmos is a bit annoying. Overall, I’ll stick with Apple Music until the end of the year, but at this stage I’ll probably go back to Spotify. I don’t think the functionality of the Music app is at or near the same level as Spotify’s unfortunately. What do you think, do you have the same feelings towards Apple Music?
