After the order went through, receive the activation email rather quickly. Code worked and am enjoying the subscription. Love the playlists recommended and the library is huge. I listen to a lot of show tunes and Jpop and Apple Music is not lacking in either!

its a cool perk to get with your new headphones when you get but its only for new subscribers so its useless if you have apple music already.

I’m a long time Spotify user and am generally pretty happy with it. Their recent integration of podcast suggestions mixed in with music is messy though. I’m not a fan of that. After 2 years or so away from Apple Music, I decided to give them a try with their free trial period promo. I was pleasantly surprised that their curated personal personalized playlists have gotten so much better. It’s night and day. If you’ve been away from Apple Music for a while, give it a shot.

I'm not a new subsriber and I've gotten free subscriptions for months. I set a reminder to cancel on my phone when it ends. Then I jump between Spotify, Tidal, Pandora etc. Well I tried this again and it gave me 3 months free somehow! Between this and other streaming music services, I never have to pay for music again!

Apple Music was cool had some issues with playlist and a few other things but not a bad service

It's free for SIX months. The ability to have higher quality of audio when compared to Spotify is great. Also, the spatial audio is fun if you have the hardware for it. However, it did take me a while to get used to navigating having come from Spotify. Overall, besides an actual Windows download option and other small inconveniences, I do really like the quality options.

Since I use Apple products and am in that ecosystem, Apple Music is an easy choice for me. It's very easy to use across my phone and iPad and Apple TV and computers. Pretty good music video selection as well, with streaming channels for video and music. I might be a weirdo for this, but Tidal is either my second or concurrent choice alongside Apple (Tidal has Prince albums and feels nicer to browse for me). If I didn't use Apple things, Tidal would be my first choice.

It’s not Spotify, however giving it some time to test it out. It incorporates very well with apple echo system. AirPods, watch, iPad iPhone, mac, HomePods, and apple tv, this is why imo apple music is worth it. No other service can provide the echo system. If you’re wrinkling to look past the fact that is not Spotify and it takes some time to learn it, it is very worth it.

Having 6 free months of Apple Music was amazing. The difference between an ad-free and ad-filled experience can be night and day, especially when you listen to the same ads over and over. That being said, this is a "problem" created by the streaming industry to make it profitable (which they have every right to do), but it makes me only search for free trials like this rather than pay for subscriptions.

The app itself has been great. Runs smooth and easy enough to navigate. The library is good, but not excellent. I'm not sure if its licensing or policy/TOS guidelines, but some stuff I've enjoyed on Spotify isn't there. I can't say if its censorship or what, but in the end it still ends up there's stuff I feel should be available in there. The sound quality is pretty great so far as I can tell. I don't have hi-res headphones or anything, just an old pair of Yamaha EPH-50 earbuds (with a proper seal) and enjoy what i hear.

Apple music is not my favorite. It is disorganized and not user friendly in my opinion.
