I was drawn to upgrading my phone through Best Buy as I would subscribe to Apple Music and so having 6 months free is worth about $70. The link Best Buy sent me through email does not work and I have not been able to get my 6 free months. It also came with 6 months of Apple News which did work and so I am confused as to why the music link does not work. I will change this review If this can be fixed but Best Buy has had truly awful customer service lately. I was on the phone for almost 2 hours twice and I still did not get to speak with anyone.

I see more value in paying for youtube premium and just streaming my favorite music with no ads. A lot music you find on youtube you wont find on apple.

I prefer Spotify and get way more with my Spotify account like Hulu and Starz with my student's account. Apple gives "free" subscriptions because they know once you start to pay for it you'll be hooked.

Received this with most of my Apple Purchases but I am not a new subscriber so therefor its a waste. I wish Apple did something for already subscribers when products are purchased!

Im sure it’s a good value but there’s a lot of free service out there n I already have a nice music library thus not for me. Would be nice if it could be swapped for something else

This service, besides being expensive, does not give you too many options as spotify does. Will try for another month and then I'm done with it. Waste of time and money.

Tons of music to choose from, you name it they have it. A little complicated to figure out. Do not like how it takes over your device and your own music files. Too complicated for me.

Thanks for the music, but I am not too impressed with the sound quality or the ability to change sound in the app. It just doesn't sound right. Compressed

Most of the time when buying Apple products, you’re already an Apple Music subscriber so this add on has always been useless. It’s only for new subscriptions and there’s no use here for me.

I gave up on Apple music after the Ipod started offering video capability. So, i havent even bothered using this. I guess its nice to have for ppl who dont already sub to spotify, et al..

This service came with purchase of a Sonos Move speaker. Advertised as 6 months, but I can only get 3 months for some reason. Haven't gotten to the bottom of it, and it's annoying.

We have Apple Music for whole family. And our cars have car play. No need for Xm radio or nav system. Would give it five stars but get screwed 6 months free is only for new accounts.

While it's nicely integrated into the Apple ecosystem, I already pay for Google / YouTube Premium that includes music from the Google catalog. I won't renew this free subscription.

I have been unable to load this free item. I tried several times but it doesn’t load. Not sure if you have to cancel or whether it automatically renews. I never like that option.

Wouldn't let me open the email it came in to give it to the person I gave as a birthday present that's why I deal with android only

I can’t stand the auto play with the iPhone so I don’t use their music. But they have just as much music and ability to play different stuff like Spotify or others.

apple music is clunky and has some anoying program glitches like every thing apple.Hard to pick next song while one is still playing .I will stick with spotify

I miss simple iTune days where I could have my music downloaded the way I want it. This is just another version of your Pandora/Spotify, just worse.

You can only use this if you have never tried Apple Music in any way before. So if you have tried a trial before or subscribed before, you can just throw this away
