This is a "free" item that is not free. Needs a credit card for auto pay. I get it, I actually do. But no getting my card for something free.

You get what you paid for. It came scratched on the case and the left ear piece didn’t function well. I’ll be returning it and purchasing a brand new one.

i was unable to use this because i have apple music so its pointless and think its uncool that only new users can use the deal.

I never got my free trial emailed to me even though my email address is listed correctly. I looked in my inbox, junk and trash folders. I have tried calling (the transferred and hung up on me twice) and tried live chatting ( I sat for 25 minutes and no one picked up the chat). I suppose I’ll just give up and admit that Best Buy isn’t going to give me what they said they would. Sad day.

This is hampered by the fact that it's for new subscribers only. It basically makes it useless for those who have tried out Apple Music.

Received this offer and was really excited only to find out it’s only for new members , which really suck! Wasn’t able to use because of that

It's fine but if you already have a music streaming service like Amazon or Spotify it's just redundant. An added and unnecessary bill.

This only works for new accounts, so you cannot unfortunately add this to an existing plan. It is an annoying practice but it is what it is.

Already have Apple music I pay 9.99 A month when I tried to redeem the free six months it said I could not because i am a member. It is not fair to offer it and then I have to cancel my subscription to redeem it I should have the option to use the code and then have the option to click something that gives me notice that my payments will resume on whatever the day will be from the 6 months.

Not worth the effort for non-apple users. The app on other platforms is buggy and even the web player is not great.

I spent several hours between both Best Buy and Apple trying to get this free 6 months of Apple Music. After talking to at least 5 representatives and being put on hold 6 times I just gave up. I noticed I received Apple TV & Apple Arcade, when I was supposed to receive Apple TV & Apple Music. I felt really disappointed by the lack of support and follow through by the Best Buy team. In the end I signed up for the 3 free months for joining Apple Music.

Don't really like "free" trials where they charge you after the trial. Didn't even use this free trial.

Interface no where near as good as spotify. Quality of music no where near as good as Tidal HiFi. Locked in to itunes which is not the best.

Spotify is better in my opinion. I already get it discounted through Spotify student and I’m not going to transfer my whole library for six months

Spotify is a much better option. Not supported everywhere with smart devices. Spotify family is a better deal. Even if integrated with phone

Disappointed was told you get apple music × 6 months but when activated thru Apple you can only get free promotion × 3 months

Same as the other free subscription products I was supposed to be eligible for for one I have never had an account on any of them and just got my first iPad and second of all no instructions have ever landed in my email regardless of an hour long call to Best Buy customer support and promises that TechTeam would figure out how to get it to me because the person on the phone couldn’t seem to

I don't use Apple Music, I use Google music. Just because I don't like/use it, doesn't mean you wont!

I was excited to try out the Apple music plan, but since I had already done apples free 3 moth trial, it was not possible to use

Didn't take advantage of promo so unable to make a determination or recommend one way or the other.
