Apple News is simply not worth ANY subscription price - much less that of even a free 4-month trial offering. This may explain why they are giving away numerous trial memberships as their reader base continues to plummet. Apple News is overtly almost all liberal news bias making it a horrible choice for true conservatives and middle-of-the-road individuals alike, who clearly want good ole’ fashion FACTUAL news and not liberal opinionated journalism. Also, recent software updates have made viewing and reading the news a monumental mess to try to cipher through, with no user-friendly interface. Apple News should have left the original design alone. Each new update is more chaotic than the previous one.

The quality of news is good, current and updated.

Not as useful as I thought but it is nice to have.

I got it for free with the purchase of some AirPods

It’s a decent streaming service. Audio quality is up there, the interface is clean and snappy. It’s iTunes on steroids. I just don’t like not owning my music, so I have cancelled it and now buy music through Qobuz and 7Digital.

This product is great but it only works for new subscribers. I already had an account as I’m a iPhone user for years so I was unable to validate to my existing account. I would have to create a new account with would in turn lose my other services.

I didn't find myself using the service too much. Apple just isn't where I think of first to get my news of the day. Apple has so many great products, but I just feel like this is average. I let my subscription expire and didn't renew it.

Was somewhat looking forward to trying Apple news on my phone since it's frustrating that news pops up and then you find out it's blocked. Tried several times to redeem the code with no luck. Message says go to the Apple Store to redeem. :-(

I got it for free with my purchase of another Apple product. Just remember to cancel before the end of the free trial period if you don't want to continue to subscribe.

I wasn't able to access the free promotion since I wasn't a new subscriber, but generally no complaints with apple music. When offering these promotions, just wish it would be open to all and not just new subscribers.

It’s “news” but it is very biased toward a liberal viewpoint. The writing is good but the actual national news is not unbiased journalism. I was disappointed in that it didn’t feel like an Apple product. I expected better.

These promotional add ons are great for new subscribers, but if you’re not one they don’t do anything for you.

Need to be a new subscriber, I think that’s not fair. Even if you have service you should be able to pause payment and have it covered Barely use it
