I only gave this a low rating because it was not for me. I am not big on news, so I did not find myself using it. I did try it, and it was easy to use, but I just did not use it.

News + doesn’t offering anything in addition to what anyone can find on the internet. I’ve already set a calendar reminder to cancel before the 4-month freebie subscription ends.

I don’t use apple new plus, but if any user uses it. I would give it a 5 but since I don’t use it then I don’t want to give it a good rating lol. But it works well if you use it

Never used because we already have Apple News but I gifted them for a Christmas present to people we don't really like. It didn't work but hey it's the thought that counts.

The free exchange of news and information in a civilized society is paramount. News should never be paywalled. This review most likely won’t be allowed because Best Buy has a corporate bias and thus will not like this review. Capitalism is destroying the planet and destroying our society by way of the commodification of segments of society that should never be commodified. Examples of this are healthcare, education, housing, news etc. The more you know!

I’m going to be honest- I didn’t really use it. I don’t have a lot of trust for mainstream journalism, it all seems to have an extreme agenda. Sad.

while I really like the idea of having news integrated into the apple ecosystem, this to me felt like overkill and not really worth it after my trial was done.

i didnt really use this but my phone did notify me whenever something happened in my area or in the world as a whole

Not really a news person. I prefer to watch the morning news. But if you’re into up to date articles and a lot of notifications, this app is for you.

I was cheated by Bestbuy. I bought an apple gift card from bestbuy, but they gave me a different gift card (not the one I bought). as the serial numbers does not match, i cannot redeem, and it cannot be solved by Bestbuy or Apple (I tried many times). and Bestbuy even did not this is a mistake. And with these serial number not matching, i cannot return the gift card. Is Bestbuy's new business model? make profits by cheating customers? I promise not to buy anything from bestbuy.

I got this with the purchase of a phone - what a joke. It's not like you can't go to a regular news site online for free. I have yet to even use the "Free Apple News", and do not plan to ever use it. Kind of like those CDs you get with the purchase of a laptop - saw one of those the other day. Unopened, too guilty to throw away - so it sits in a shed gathering a layer of dust. Maybe someday it will be worth something!

If you are looking for digital versions of magazines, this would be great for you. Basically this is PFDs of magazines in addition to the news feed. Not impressed.

High key pointless and not worth the money. Like, LA Times and New York Times are behind paywalls and give you way better info and news updates.

got it free as part of my purchase for the iPad mini, don't really use it. its free so ill see what it is, its a news app, ill just use yahoo or CNN or MSN

If you get it free it's fine. If you have to pay for this, not worth it at all! Did not re-subscribe

I do not really use this app, to be honest. I can find news elsewhere and I often forget I have it on my phone. It is okay but hard to navigate.

I don't know really if this is a "thing" .. There is so much info on the web, its border line silly to dedicate a service to report news

Fair Overall rating for Apple - Free Apple News+ for 4 months (new subscribers only). Why pay for news that are biased?!

Nah, with the mainstream news in the US right now peddling their politics instead of being unbiased. It's not worth the money to pay for.

Didn't sign up. Was afraid it would be hard to stop once the 4 free months was over. Plus I don't think Apple news is the type of news I want.
