Have no idea how to activate the product. I have tried numerous time and even written to apple with no reply

I got this free subscription when I bought a TV. I canceled it at the end. It was worth every penny.

Terrible. It never worked once, I hate Apple Music anyways, no unreleased songs. Get Spotify!

I like Apple News+ due to it having a much better magazine selection than the service offered by my local library. However I had recently cancelled because the normal monthly price is still a bit high for the number of magazines I read regularly. But this promotion motivated me to re-subscribe (giving 3 months free in my case since I wasn't a "new" subscriber). I plan to keep it active at least until the end of the year, since the average monthly cost after 6 months (3 free + 3 paid) is closer to matching the value I personally get from it. It is also worth noting that with Apple Family Sharing, the other household members also get full access to News+. So if you use Family Sharing, make sure the rest of your family knows to check out News+ also!

Free Apple News+ is a great deal for new subscribers who want to access hundreds of magazines and newspapers. The service offers personalized stories, audio features, and puzzles. However, it auto-renews for $9.99/mo after the trial, so you need to cancel if you don't want to pay.

Apple's standard offer for new subscribers is a 1-month trial so this is 4x better. Apple News+ offers access to lots of content that is usually behind a paywall but still has lots of room for improvement. I would like to see a web version of Apple News+ or a way to link your subscription with outlets like WSJ for easy access on non-Apple devices and through Safari, when you discover articles outside of the News+ app.

This is better than the 1 month free trial Apple has for new subscribers to their News+ service. You get 3 months if you were a previous subscriber and 4 months if you are a new subscriber.

I like it - not for the news but just the magazines. Was hoping this service would be just a big paywall crushing nice UI from the top news companies, including local. Oh well.

love this been using it since the weekend. I can get my magazines on Mac, iPad and iPhone. Thanks Best Buy, good deal!
