Seems like old technology still being sold

One is still sitting in a box, one I am frustratingly trying to figure out if it's gonna be an option. Then to add things into that mix, there might be a new Apple TV coming out in the next weeks or months, making this one obsolete after I just bought it? I will say that the remotes and device seem very high-quality, however, if you have hardwood floors, you drop the remote, there's no case for it… Until you go to Amazon and get a protective case, which I recommend. I have mixed feelings about this unit, still getting to know it, and I still might return it, so these are my initial feelings on this item.
