I was skeptical but I’m glad to say I really enjoyed Apple TV. They seem to care about actually making good shows. The interface is smooth and quick. Some of my favorites so far are Slow Horses, Severance and Invasion.

With all the streaming services out there, it’s not always realistic to pay for them all. I love getting these free trials because it lets you sample different streaming services and figure out which ones are best for you. Apple TV probably falls under the category of not worth paying every month for me personally (when compared to Max, Hulu, Netflix, etc.). But it does have some pretty decent shows and it is great to get 3 months to check out every now and then.

I’ve been using Apple TV 4K, and it’s quickly become the centerpiece of my home entertainment setup. The picture quality is fantastic—everything looks sharp, smooth, and vibrant, especially with Dolby Vision and HDR content. Navigation is super smooth, and the menus feel clean and intuitive compared to some other streaming devices I’ve used.

LUV! Apple TV+! The shows are consistently good! Loot is sweet and funny. Acapulco is adorable, funny, and one of the best shows on tv. The Morning Show is the best drama in many years. We are really happy with Apple TV+!

Apple TV+ usually is just a 7-day free trial (which is added on!) and other trials I've seen are usually 3-4 bucks a month for 2-3 months. Peacock Premium did offer a 99 cents a month for a year awhile back, but it was the minimal commercial option which was still too many commercials. After browsing Apple TV+ offerings, I don't think it's currently worth $9.99 a month, but if they expand their library, it could be worth getting for a month or two, once a year for some of their original movies & series. I started watching the Jason Momoa series See (3 seasons - 24 episodes) and it's pretty intense although a bit far-fetched plot-wise. There's a few original docs that look worthwhile. A side-note, I have noticed from doing searches for movies that there's a handful of movies that Apple appears to have an exclusive on renting & buying digital copies, but you don't have to be a current subscriber to rent/buy.

However, even non-Apple users will be impressed with the service’s premium features and user experience. What's better than 3 months free? Of course I ended up continuing to pay since I was deep in some of my shows but have told so many people they need to do the promotion.

Who doesn't love Apple TV?! So many great shows: Severance and Pluribus, among many others keep me coming back to renew. The free trial is a no-brainer.

Apple TV+ is an amazing streaming platform and I thoroughly enjoyed this trial experience from BestBuy. Within minutes of purchasing the trial on the BestBuy app i received the digital code to use to get the free trial.
