Had to buy a current device that would download the hbomax app. This app is not available on my older tv, blue ray, av receiver, appletv. Why couldn’t direct tv have a hbomax on demand channel like they do for many other providers?

All HBO classics are here to re-watch which is a good thing. The app and website really need to be improved. The website doesn't scale well with my 1440p monitor and had several crashes mid video on the website, PS4 app and mobile device.

HBO Max is alright. I like to watch anime and there are some good options, but not many. There are other options like some new release movies and movies/shows from the DC Universe catalog, but nothing that is impressive.

It’s a decent service. Just more to spend money on. The movies at home is awesome though. Should be weekly movies not just once or twice a month but that in itself is worth it. King Kong and mortal kombat made it worth it.

This was randomly in something I purchased recently... I don’t know what and I haven’t used it but cool... Once they remaster The Wire and The Sopranos in 4K/Dolby Atmos I may think about activating it... or something.

While a trial is nice, I don't think it should be required to input a credit card number for something that they claim is "free". Nice to have something new, but disappointed about the requirements that come along with it.

One of the best streaming services. There are many ways to get this as a bonus to a package, get it for free if you can. Apps are terrible though, they freeze up more than others across several devices.

With 4K TV's the mainstream now and most capable of Dolby Vision and Atmos it would seem a company devoted to movies would have much more content with these must haves. So sadly I cancelled after the free trial.

I don’t understand how there can be so many HBO apps why isn’t there just one. Anyways I use this and it has some pretty cool originals but other than that I see no difference between this and the regular HBO

Pretty cool that this was offered. I didn’t know that it was coming with the purchase. So it’s definitely a nice surprise. HBO has amazing content, just wouldn’t pay the subscription fee after the trial ends.

The service is ok. Expensive compared to what you get from other services. It will be much better after Christmas with 4K and Dolby Atmos content coming along with the Warner Brothers movies of 2021 coming.

14 Day work of binge watching,...Done! It came free with a movie purchase. Like any other streaming service,...after heavily bingeing for 14 days,...not really work continuing the subscription.

Ok app, it was annoying trying to install on my series x but I finally succeeded. So far I’ve only watched Wonder Woman 84 and it was trash. Some of the titles say 4K but I didn’t see any HDR stuff.

It is ok. I think for the price they have you pay afterwards is not worth it to be honest. With how many options you have with so many other streaming services, you should shop around for sure.

14 days for a free trial is good. I've been able to get 30 days through their website before so it's not great. No billing issues and decent amount of content.

Hbo Max has many movies, it doesn’t seem like they have newer movies that we want to watch. Someone else may find they are happy with the movies available.

Decent streaming service with a good selection of movies and tv shows. Having said that, it has several issues with compression. I was watching WW84 and it got a little grainy at times.

I’ve been using HBO Max since January 2021. They have a greater number of new movies then Netflix and Prime. I’m not sure if the cost will be worth the content for the entire year.

Same HBO service that I remember when I had cable. Same movies shown over and over for the month. Wasn't very impressed with the setup of the menu. Cancelled after trial was over.

Got this with my purchase of a video game. It's 14 days of HBO, nothing special about it, provides exactly what it says. Just make sure to cancel beforehand so you don't get charged.
