Took advantage of the free trial but HBO Max has really got to step it up in the audio and video quality especially when its competitors offer 4k and Dolby atmos. HBOMax 1080p was only outputting 816p on my set and the audio just sounds too compressed even in DD+.

I never even claimed the free HBO Max trial so yah.

It came with a game I got. I don't know if I'll use it.

Old content canceled before the time period was over.

This app is ok. Not a lot of content to choose from.

HBO service is good I guess but the app experience on all my android devices has been the worst. Bugs all the time. Not worth the subscription if they don't fix their app on adnroid device.

I didn't use it, but the thought was nice I guess.

Good for Thrones, WestWorld, Friends, and Big Bang Theory. Worth catching up on your favorite shows but more expensive and worse sales than other streaming services in the long term.

at least this was a free trial, I would have loved it more if I didn't need to enter my credit card. HBO max needs way more content than this and needs to reduce the price down to no more than $4.99 per month, as-is pricing is not worth it at all

Fun to have lots of movies at your fingertips But I’d rather buy their Blu-ray counterparts to have physical backups that can’t be removed off the streaming service. Streaming feels great until you look at your bill.

The menus are slow and clunky. Good this this was a free trial as there is no way I would ever pay for this. Not enough choices either. Good for when movies come to the theater and you can see them at home.

I was personally not able to take advantage of this offer because I already had an existing HBO account. However I love the service and would recommend it to others. I only wish I could use this on my own account.

Well it's a trial. Which you can get pretty much anywhere. Thing about trials, they want your personal info including a payment method. And when trial ends they start billing you. So if it's worth it to you to try something for a couple weeks, giving out personal info including ccard or bank account, then remember to cancel before you get billed this may be good for you. For me a trial would be something where you don't have to give out any payment info at all, if you like you subscribe, if you don't just let it expire.

Have no interest in HBO max even with the free trial. Must have received dozens of 2 week free trials from all my black friday shopping I will not use.

Gotta claim it right away, or it goes bye-bye forever. It's certainly not worth subbing to HBO Max, for a number of reasons. Not nearly enough content for the higher price tag.

I thought this would be a great way to try out HBO Max. But when told that I have to enter my credit card details and the subscription will be automatically renewed, I need to reconsider
