Another way to get you to pay more for things you already pay for

Not a bad product, but with so many clouds out there to choose from, this would not be my first choice.

I already pay for iCloud at a bigger TB tier, so this was kind of a wasted offer for me unfortunately.

Due to problems with icloud account or Apple ID which is now Apple Account im returning this MacBook pro, Apple TV 4k and any else Apple i can find. I reached out THREE times for help (via Apple support) and all three times received an email stating when they would either call or text. Never happened despite me getting up at 2:00 AM yesterday so I wouldn’t miss them. I called and was on the phone for 58 minutes and the rep was amazing. He did and thought of everything, even though he said its not what that dept dies; he totally understood my aggravation. It did result in me getting an Apple account. They wouldn’t even discuss with me when i asked if i could just delete my account as im willing to loose all info and previous purchases. Ive been a fan of Apple since the 1st iphone but come Monday all Apple equipment is going to be replaced with Android and IBM. Im very disappointed

I dont know why Apple keeps putting out products and calling them new when it seems like the only thing that has changed in the past 8 years on this is the shape.

I don't think it's worth buying, I'd rather buy an SSD.

Almost Absolutely needed if you can’t afford or don’t have the patience to save up more money for the bigger storage options. Apple is greedy and punish their customers and fans that are broke or poor. They should add a 5$ option for 1tb. No one needs or wants 2tb. Helpful? Yes. Should it exist? No.

Tbh i havent actually used it but just the idea of paying apple for a subscription after i already bought a phone is just annoying. Why do all successful companies need to have a almost mandatory subscription just to use basic features

iCloud has been one of the most annoying experiences I've had with any Apple service. It sounds great on paper—seamless syncing, easy backups, everything in one place—but in reality it barely works half the time. Files randomly disappear or don't sync across devices. I’ll upload something on my iPhone and then it just never shows up on my Mac. Photos take forever to load or don’t load at all, and don’t even get me started on the constant “Not Enough Storage” messages even though I barely use it. The interface is super confusing and feels outdated, like it’s stuck in 2013. It’s also ridiculously hard to manage files or find what you’re looking for. Half the time I have no idea where my stuff even went. Apple really dropped the ball on this one—it’s more stressful than helpful and makes me want to go back to just using a regular hard drive.

Android feels more liberating meaning theres more you can do with android without being limited to certain stuff

I got a huge kick out of this one, free iCloud storage for two months but it requires a credit card on file to activate the account. I have ICloud storage through Apple, it costs me $0.99 per month and gives me 50gb of storage, I honestly do not see any need for this offer but I certainly feel like if you provide your credit card information that you will be paying a lot of money for nothing. I feel like this offer is not honest, reputable or trustworthy and I would not release my personal information.

Ugh. Apple purposely skimps on storage space on their devices just so you'll be forced to subscribe to this thing. They also make it inconvenient to pull all your pics and videos off the cloud so you can store it on a hard drive instead. I'll probably be paying this every month for the rest of my freakin' life.

Just to make up for non compatibility of Apple with other platforms and to get used to storing junk

It is rather expensive compared to other cloud options available and their service support is lousy for that matter Apple service support in general is lousy.
