Our initial consult was for two tvs to be mounted. Took two days and two separate trips from tech doing the work, as different mounts were needed. There seemed to be ALOT of confusion between consultant and tech that actually did the work. My wife and I had to oversee the process, which took much more time and effort than we were expecting for the money. For the cost and expertise, I will look elsewhere next time.

Decided to have this in-home consult to understand the options for creating a movie room of an existing space in our house. The rep arrived timely on the appointed date and didn't seem rushed to "get thru yet another consultation" with rookies at this kind of investment. We developed a good enough feeling about the rep that we continue to interact with him for revised quotes and continuing changes to our equipment. We're also comparing Best Buy to a non-big box competitor and so far the race is tight, though doesn't seem to be much price negotiation with Best Buy.

As usual the Geek Squad did a super job of explaining the options to us.

First let me say that we are proficient do-it-yourselfers and have experience wall-mounting a 42-inch TV. However, when we bought this 75 inch, 125 lb TV, we knew we needed help! The two gentlemen from the Geek Squad were extremely professional. The job included neatly cutting holes in the walls for a power and cable hiding system and attaching a wall mount. They meticulously cleaned up after their work as well as wore booties over their shoes to prevent damage to the floors. They connected the cable box, bluray player and AV system and made the necessary changes to the TV's settings. Lastly they showed us how to use the basic features that were new to us and answered all of our questions. They were friendly, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. We would definitely use their services again.
