Two geek squad members visited our residence for new TV custom installation to a new room addition. Consultation was fine and helpful, however they stated that they would email an estimation of products and services for the job. This was June 23rd. After over 10 phone calls and leaving voice messages, no one responded. No emails. No phone contact. I visited geek squad at my local store and they had no paperwork or indication geek squad gave a consultation. They instead gave us the contact information for the lead geek squad service member, David Childs. David never answers his phone or returns calls or messages (see above). Finally, he answers a phone home call (July 13) and comments that he's had no inkling home calls or voice messages (not true). He remembers the consultation, apologized and states he will email estimation and products later that day. He never did. Calls and text messages have been made/sent since with no response. Today is July 16. WILL NOT RECOMMEND GEEK SQUAD OR BEST BUY TO ANY CUSTOMER.

installation of my new equipment was done professional

This experience was way too time consuming. I waited several hours on a Saturday for the technician to arrive and then his proposal took almost three weeks. When I went to the store to order the items to complete the project it took over an hour; however, some of this was due to my questions. Then the Receiver was cancelled and it took another trip to Best Buy to determine what happened and reorder another Receiver. I am a big fan of Best Buy and you guys are normally better than this.
