The installation went well. The installers were friendly and competent. However, they should have warned me that I'd have to have Comcast come out and do the final connections to make the set work.

The agent, Justin kept me informed when he could come out. He got here as informed. He has been out here to install our previous TV on the wall, my washer. He is so informative and very friendly. Please, please do not let him go anywhere. Businesses need more people like Justin--don't see that in this day and time.

The whole experience was a blessing. We got a great price on all of the hardware, and the install was exceptional. Oz and Ocean and the team at the Modesto store were the best. Thanks!

I am very technologically challenged so had no idea what would work or what I needed to set up a home theater in my home. The Best Buy in home consultant came out, assessed my needs and set me up with just what I needed for my space. I have no problems using the devices he recommended and am enjoying all my new toys.

We wanted to be sure that the TV we wanted could be mounted above the fireplace BEFORE we got it home. The $99. we spent for the consultation was deducted from the purchase price. We now have a 60" TV mounted securely and had a whole education from the Geek Squad on how to use our new smart TV. What more could you want?

I had delivery of a tv and mounting on the wall completed. The team arrived on time and were very pleasant. They erected careful with my walls and not only performed excellent service, but assured all garbage was removed. They took some extra care in making sure the wires and mountings were clean and looked nice.

Having the free in-home consultation was a great move. I wanted to save some money and use my existing projector to create a home theater. I was floored by the price- cables and screens add up. I learned that for the same amount I could get a new 75-inch $4K Sony TV. So I did, and I love it!!

The two installers did a very good job of staying on task. Dan especially was very knowledgeable. He was there to help after the installation when there were a few problems. I appreciate how patient they were when I was trying to figure out where on the wall I wanted to put the TV's I purchased.

When the consultant did understand that I am not going to invest a couple of thousand $ it started to be good. The final (reduced) offer which was provided was feasible but some "nice to have" were still included. However - the product which I did finally chose was/is advertised wrongly on the best buy homepage and the wrong information was even confirmed by a sales representative in the shop... with that written: I would rather give a statement about that. As all the best buy support was way below average for that device

The installers saw what we had needed and asked for, did not oversell to us, but got us exactly what we wanted. They were courteous, professional and cleaned up after themselves. We were very impressed.

Consultant & the install technicians called to confirm the appointment the day before. They also called to inform us that they were on their way with an ETA. Kept us informed through the process & didn't talk over our heads. It was obvious that they were trained to do their job & how to interact with the customer.

1st contact (in store and at our home) - Geek Squad consultant knowledgeable and affable, helping us make decisions about a $5K purchase, including outdoor speakers. 2nd contact - Technicians who came to installed the TV were polite and seemed skilled, but hung the TV too high saying it was because of the electricial outlet.The Geek Squad consultant did not say it was a problem when he came to the house before installation. The technicians also said they could not wire for the outdoor speakers as the consultant said we could because of limited attic space. Very disappointing. We tried to contact the consultant about these two things and left messages over a period of at least three days. He did not return our calls. 3rd contact - The technicians returned to lower the TV after we had an electrician install a new outlet. However, they left the TV hanging crooked on the wall. We left messages on the technician's cell phone to come back and straighten the TV. He did not return any of our calls. 4th contact - I finally went to the store and talked to the original consultant (he had not returned my phone calls either). He said he emailed and left messages for the technician. One week later, we were still not contacted by the technician to straighten the TV. 5th contact - We finally got in touch with the consultant again who set up another appointment for our TV to be straightened on the wall. 6th contact - The next day the new technician came to our home and adjusted the TV. Everything looks fine now, but this purchase turned into a major hassle. We went to Best Buy specifically because of the Geek Squad and what we thought they could do to install our TV and sound system. Although we spent a good deal of money, we were treated as though our business did not matter to Best Buy.

I was quite disappointed with the person who enrolled me in the consultation because the wrong price was given to me for installation I found the salesman was a bit rude as well

If we have in home consultation and Best Buy puts together a package, it should include everything. We were caught in between when the installers tell us extra equipment and services are needed!

This consultation service is a very good service provided by Best Buy at no cost as long as you buy a minimum amount of the equipment. Person was knowledgable and offered different suggestions.

Best Buy installed two wall mounts and two TVs as well as programming my remote and wireless speaker system. I was very impressed with their expertise, cleanliness, and quality of work.

These guys are very knowledgable about the products and the necessary prep for a new buildout . They helped me set the potential home theater space to optimize the new theater equipment

Consultant came to our project. He said he would get us information in a couple of days. However, we never heard back from him and it been approximately 2 weeks.

Called Geek Squad 1-800 number and scheduled an appointment. Came out within a few days and spent some time at my house going over what all I wanted to do. The 2 guys were great and gave me some good suggestions. After that I got the email summery with all the items and item numbers.

1st scheduled consultation was cancelled. 2nd scheduled consultation nobody showed up. 3rd scheduled consultation nobody showed up. I even called during the scheduled time to ask if anyone was coming and was told yes they will be there towards the end of the scheduled window. Currently trying to get my money back but Best Buy still holding it and is not worried about giving it back or the very bad service. Would never ever use this service again. Spent hours waiting and the consult and on the phone for absolutely nothing.
