    The Geek Squad guys showed up when promised, were very qualified, completed a professional installation, and left the room clean from all the debris. They spent the time to fully explain the workings of the remote and all the components.

    The consultant did a good job, listening to what we wanted to do and the concerns we had. He then recommended Antennas, Chromecast and Amplifiers to suite our needs. We are now cable free and loving the cost savings.

    We had the Geek Squad install two wall mounted TV's, an amp, Blue Ray and remote system ... and they were fantastic. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable. I highly recommend this team ...Brandon, David, and Sarah!

    Installers arrived when they said they would, they called me 20 minutes prior to arrival. They made some additional recommendations while they were here. So far so good. Everything is working and looking awesome!

    We brought our problem to the consultant. He took the time to understand the issue, asked follow-up questions, fixed the problem and showed us how to deal with any similar issues should they arise. A very effective consultation.

    Geek squad was very helpful in choosing tv size and placement, recommending blue ray and analyzing current sound system including recommendation to not replace it. Their honest opinion was greatly appreciated.

    Deplorable Magnolia service experience

    After recently moving, I wanted to get fixed up with new tvs and soundbar + full install in a couple of our living areas. The Magnolia (really Geek Squad) consult was good and our tech was very professional. She knew a lot about the equipment and made good recommendations. The supplemental equipment on the order was way overdone with $150 HDMI cables (each, yes each) and a $40 surge protector. However, when she wrote up the service and turned over to the delivery/install team, it was a nightmare. We placed our order and scheduled the delivery/install at least 2 weeks out. For some reason, the cables and surge protector had to be shipped to my house. They charged me for shipping on top of that but told me I wouldn't be charged. That was my first clue that things weren't going right. Why couldn't they just bring that when they delivered and installed the tv? I took off work on the day they were supposed to come and called the night before just to confirm since I hadn't heard anything. The response I got from the Geek Squad rep was "it's not happening tomorrow." Why, I asked, and was given some weird reason about the tv. Had no clue what they were talking about and asked when they would come. "Oh, it'll be at least another 2 weeks," I was told. This was completely unacceptable. I canceled the install. My wife went to the store where we placed the order from and found out that the tv was in-stock at that store and the employees couldn't figure out why our delivery/install tech said there was a problem with the tv. She brought home our tv and soundbar and I installed/mounted them myself. What a supreme pain this whole experience was. Fortunately, they refunded the consult fee, shipping and install charges. I love the tv and soundbar, but the Magnolia/Geek Squad service was simply deplorable. I would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't like a major hassle. There is also much more I'm not writing here because it would take too long and is too frustrating to recount. Best Buy is fine as a box store, but do not use their delivery/install service.

    Setup crew did a great job. We are pleased how all wires were tucked away, and the crew even took all boxes with them and left no trash for me. I recommend this group to anyone. And the TV was a great deal, with an outstanding picture

    Consultant gave us suggestions and choices and explained how the ceiling speakers would work best. We talked about price, quality and placement and what to expect from the techs when they installed the speakers. Great service!

    The Sonos system is outstanding. The sound quality is excellent. The ability to control multiple speaker systems throughout the house is very convenient. I would (and already have) recommended this system friends and family.

    The in-home consultation is the absolute best way to go if you have limited knowledge about electronics and technology. It provides information necessary for customers to make "good decisions" regarding a rather large investment.

    Aaron did an excellent job installing surround sound for the living room and media room and outdoor speakers for our screen porch. He was a pleasure to have come do the work, did an excellent job, and we couldn't be happier!

    All my questions were answered by AJ plus we went over the room layout, how lighting will affect TV and any cables required and existing equipment usage. Also we reviewed different TV types, styles and prices to fit my budget.

    My sound bar is outstanding, with 2 speakers, and sub-wolfer. Was set up professionals who helped me understand the complex instructions, and left me a local telephone number to use should I have any problems.

    Home Theater Consultation

    We had a horrible experience with our home theater consultation. So horrible that I don't even know where to start. It took almost a week to get it scheduled and then he came out and was there about 10 minutes. He made a few notes. We told him what projector we were getting. This was a Friday and we were told that it would probably be done by Tuesday of the following week. Finally by Saturday of the next week, I called because it had been 8 days and I had not heard anything. I called and they said, maybe we emailed it to the wrong address but then I got it an hour later. Literally nothing in the body of the email, just listing the product name, the sku, and then the price. Maybe I expected more than that. I also would have expected the dvd player suggestion, but it was just speakers and screen. The total cost for speakers and screen with the proposed best buy install prices was $3,700. We went to get the items at best buy one week later. We loaded up the cart and we asked the service associate one question since the system was so wireless. Speakers suggested were Sonos. We were trying to decide on the $250 remote that was on the list or seeing if the app you download would provide what we needed and we were a little confused because we seemed too wireless. We started talking to the sales associate and find out Sonos is optical and the projector is not. We were going to need to have satellite, gaming, and dvd inputs in this and if it would work, we would have to go with a $300 switch that would convert the optical to digital and have enough inputs for the system. Apparently our in home consultant overlooked this. We even looked at possibly a different projector but there were very few projectors that had optical as an option. So, in the end, we went with a receiver and built our sound system with separate speakers. The only thing off the consultation we bought was the screen and a projector mount. Very dissatisfied, very. Not only did we not get a good service, we spent 2 hours in best buy the first time when we had our cart loaded up and then had to put the stuff back and then went to a different best buy and bought a different sound system, but that was another 2 hours of them trying to see if the Sonos system would work with projector and what it would take. We were highly dissatisfied. I would give zero stars if I could. We got better results doing research on the internet and reading reviews from people and them building their systems. Save your money and hours of time and do not get this service.
