    Seems like my situation there was no communication between the consultant and the store when it came to giving the home theater bid/consultation. When I called the store, they had no idea what I was talking about and got the pass of many times. However, once I complained and talked to the store manager, I got my money back so all is well now and I moved on to something else

    Asked for a 7.1 home theater system...design was for 6.1. Otherwise, good service and decent responsiveness.

    My home consultation was ok but lack-luster. I felt hurried and indulged when I was hoping for some proactive enthusiasm. Also there was no follow-through from your rep and MY phone calls were not returned. Best Buy has been a favorite of mine. In their best interests, some rep training and a better consumer experience should be looked into for all the obvious reasons.

    I was told I should get this consultation before buying my replacement projector. The information given was nothing more than I knew already. I was told he would give me 3 options to choose from and only gave me one, from a brand I had told him I looked at. It took me many calls and emails to get him to respond and, as it turns out, the projector could not throw a pic that would fit my space. It was a complete waste of time.

    The gentleman showed up on time and was able to answer all of my questions. Unfortunately he did not send me the follow up email to allow me to research the products he suggested. Furthermore he did not return my calls or email to allow me to purchase the in home entertainment I requested. Ultimately I never heard back and do not have what I requested.

    Poor service. No show, no call and no follow up. Bottom line no consultation occurred.

    We purchased a 55" Sony 4K TV, new center channel for our surround sound system, along with other components, ie. audio cable, universal remote, channel molding, home theater power management system. The power management was sent to us via UPS a few days before installation. When the contract installation techs arrived with only the TV, they said BB informed them everything else had been delivered to us. They made a special trip back to the store to pick-up the missing components, only to find out they were not available. Since installation was not completed, our tuner, DVD player, etc are not connected and the room is basically in disarray. Have not heard a word from BB and unable to contact anyone via phone. Will be forced to drive to the store to sort out. We always loved BB but this has changed our opinion of them.

    The man who come to house never looked at my stereo system so the sonos was not able to be hooked up . The install guy who come said it was not compatable with my system and the original guy should have noticed this. Thank you for the install person who was able to guide us in the right direction

    Horrible. I was trying to schedule an in-home consultation for our tv. The salesman in the store tried to set up an appointment and it was impossible. Afterwards I received Best Buy phone calls telling me to call them for an appointment. If you actually make it through and talk to a costumer service rep, you get put on hold again. I was 1 hour on the phone and still wasn't able to set up an appointment since no tech works in my area with the qualifications needed. I was supposed to get a return phone call, but 3 weeks later still waiting on it. Went to a smaller place and had no issues getting somewhere here and install our TV. Done with Best Buy.

    Even though this guy is a Geek squad agent,he didn't live up to the Geek Squad standard. He seemed in a hurry to leave and had me buy a cable which I didn't need.Luckly the Geek Squad people who came to install caught that,told me I already had a cable and saved me $80.00
