    It took me over 2 hours to schedule this service on the phone. I think it is a general problem for any BEST BUY service on the phone, but I was transferred to numerous representatives, and in many occasions, the phone was disconnected while waiting. I needed to call customer service over and over and I was so tired. When I finally booked the appointment, it was 1 month away. The service I received was reasonable but I may not use BEST BUY service any more.

    We scheduled an in home consultation to diagnose and correct our existing in home audio system. The Best Buy representative had no desire and did nothing to diagnose our problem. He was clearly only interested in selling us new product. We ultimately worked with another company to accomplish our goals at 60% less than the Best Buy quote. Won't waste our time in the future with a Best Buy home consultation.

    I first requested an in home consultation several months ago. I never received a reply. I then tried again because I was ready to move forward with my project. A consultant, Kelsey, came to my home and discussed the project with me. He said he needed to talk with his engineer to see how to plan the project. He said he would get back with me in a couple of days. I never heard a word from him. What a joke!

    Geek Squad outsourced their service to a smaller company. The techs with the smaller company did not know how to set up the equipment, When we called them and informed them of this, they said they would return to fix the problems. They never showed up or called back. Our TV stand was missing and we have yet to receive it. Geek Squad showed up four days later to finally fix the issues. Bad experience for the $5600.00 we spent on equipment.

    Good information but the quote was double anyone else. Didn't listen to the fact that it is not a movie room, it's a chill out tv space.

    Did not go over or show me equipment being installed. Had sticker shock. I will have to see. Install changed to Dec 26 at 8am.

    We were told that the consultation would be more of a formality, and that "there have only ever been two" cases where a consultation was performed and a mounting couldn't be completed. We must have been the third case - because we were told our TV couldn't be mounted on uneven stone and we are currently out the $100 consultation fee. We're trying to work with the local store to address our unhappiness.

    I wasted a Saturday afternoon meeting a geek squad tech at my home where I needed to purchase a TV and mount a total of 4 flat screens. Never received an estimate from tech even after calling to follow up. I was verbally told the tech was working on the estimate and that I would receive by this date. Never happened. Very disappointing and a waste of my time.

    My geek squad guy sent me an outrageous quote via email. I asked him to send me a new quote with different options. Never heard from him again and now I'm out $100.00. I'm getting a $279 receiver instead of $700 and I don't need a $350 remote. Was not there for the customer.

    after tech gave me a review at home, I have not been able to contact him, (I have his phone number), his supervison (I have his phone number) or anyone, I mean anyone that can help me. I have constantly been put on hold or transfered to two, three other phone techs...I'm fed up and wish I'd never requested the service.

    Clayton came out as promised and doid a review. He said he would email me within 2-3 days with a recommendation of products and prices for installation. Never got an email. Called customer service 2 weeks later and requested the email. Still no reply.

    I purchased a Surround sound consultation from the Geek Squad. I was contacted for scheduling and after talking to two associates and placed on hold for sometime, was told that their system was down and that they could not schedule. This was 3 or 4 weeks ago and the consultation still is not scheduled. Good Luck.

    I made an appointment to have a consultant to come out to plan media screens for our 1400 seat auditorium and two teleconference screens for our conference rooms. The consultant never showed up and we received no notice of why or any follow up whatever. We are going with another company.

    Mounting of TV to the wall was not accomplished because the salesman consultant ordered an incorrect mounting bracket. So after waiting 3 weeks, the TV is still not mounted on the wall. Its the same everywhere. Those who make promises do not have the expertise as those sent out to perform the installation.

    Time spent with consultant did not help and poor follow-up. Consultant promised to send information never did had to repeatedly follow up with consultant no actions taken other than please come to the store and we can talk again. Seems like a sales pitch was hoping for something better

    I paid $200 for them to fix a loose wire. They gave me a 4 hour window for them to come to my home. Never called that day to give me an estimate of arrival (as promised) and only showed up 3&1/2 hours into 4 hour window. Appeared to fix problem in 30 minutes but the next day it did't work.

    I had a specific vision for an install. I had used them in my previous home in Chicago and was happy. They talked me out of what I wanted and suggested more expensive needs. I ended up installing myself and buying online.

    After having the geek squad to come out to give me a estimate to put in a TV Over my fireplace, I decided to look elsewhere and found everything they talked about for $1000 cheaper than Best Buy's estimate.
