Sam did a.great job of explaining and working on schedule changes

We needed to replace a very old TV in our great Great Room. Placing a much larger TV in the room presented challenges due to the layout of the Room. The members of the Geek Squad came to our home to assist us in determining which TV model/size would a good fit for the room and the optimum location for it. They arrived on schedule; and after an exchange with us regarding our preferences, they provded us two alternatives for consideration. We selected a model and location. Subsequently, we purchased the 60 inch Samsung SmartTV and they installed it. We have had it for about a month and so far are very pleased with our choices. The cost of the consulation was applied to the cost of the new TV and therefore was free to us..

75 inch Sony was defective and has to be replaced. Router and extender were not compatible so had to return for different extender. Equipment issues, but the installer, Ray Allen, was great!

I took his recommendations, purchased the products he suggested and thad them installed again, by the Geek Squad. The gentlemen that came to my home for installation were also very professional. They installed my tv and showed me how ot oeprate it before the left. I would definitely use them again.

The lead installer had an arrogant attitude, was in a big hurry to get in and out and did a marginally acceptable job. All he cared about was getting in and out as fast as possible and showing that the basics worked without caring if they worked optimally or even well. They also left a big tangle of wires that we had to unravel as part of getting things put together to work better and in a more integrated way. We ended up having to completely undo and reinstall everything, including hooking up the HDMI cables differently and now things are great.

Decided to have this in-home consult to understand the options for creating a movie room of an existing space in our house. The rep arrived timely on the appointed date and didn't seem rushed to "get thru yet another consultation" with rookies at this kind of investment. We developed a good enough feeling about the rep that we continue to interact with him for revised quotes and continuing changes to our equipment. We're also comparing Best Buy to a non-big box competitor and so far the race is tight, though doesn't seem to be much price negotiation with Best Buy.
