I spent weeks researching TVs before finally deciding on the Sony BRAVIA XR X90L 75”, and I can confidently say this was the right choice. Right out of the box, this TV feels premium—sleek, sturdy, and beautifully designed. But let’s talk about the picture quality. It’s honestly breathtaking. The 4K resolution combined with Sony’s XR processing makes everything look hyper-realistic. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or gaming on my PS5, the visuals are crisp, vibrant, and incredibly smooth. The colors are rich without being oversaturated, and the contrast—especially in dark scenes—is miles ahead of my old TV. One of the standout features for me is the local dimming and how well it handles black levels. You get that deep, cinematic feel without the common blooming issues I’ve noticed on other brands. Plus, motion handling is excellent—even during fast-paced action or sports, everything stays sharp. The built-in Google TV interface is intuitive and fast. It’s super easy to navigate and gives you access to all the major streaming platforms. Voice control through Google Assistant works better than I expected, and setup was a breeze. I also have to mention the sound quality. It’s surprisingly good for a flat-screen—clear dialogue, decent bass, and immersive sound modes. That said, I eventually paired it with a soundbar for an even better experience, but it’s totally watchable without one.
