Did not use the trial, but have been youtube premium for years since it was yt red. Having background play and no ads is great plus being able to download videos is nice if you're finding yourself without reception or don't have unlimited mobile data. The family plan is a better value imo

Ok. How many people van relate to this. Watching some cryptid video that is a compilation of several shows that makes the one being watched/listened to 3 hours. An ad comes on and you notice something. This ad has more stage time than most. You give it another 30 seconds and now you know. Im gonna have to hold the remote cause you were actually listening to Dixie Cryptid or What Lurks Beneath as you fall asleep. Well guess what.Now you find yourself at the mercy of a 5 minute,10 minute, ive even seen a 45 minute ads that was a preacher. So now youve been put in a position that makes you feel guilty of you skip said preaching ad. Not kidding. 45 minutes and it was skipable. So you must get up. Find the remote, and be aware while trying to fall asleep,when the ads come on. I mean that crap is mind bending frustrating. Well what if I told you that you don't ever have to choose a Cryptid video over the Lord again. You can stop all that 1 Mississippi,2Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, p-ississippi me off bologna .You would be interested in what I told you, obviously.! This world exsist folks. A world of, ooh play that video. And the video starts immediately. Im for real. No I am not making this up as I go. Its called YouTube Premium. A land beey nearby,in almost every room in any house,on any street, almost everywhere.! And for 12$ a month. That land comes to you. No packing. No moving. Just saying to yourself. "Me. Am i about to go absolutely bat guano crazy because of these ads.? You. Me.! Yes,I am. Its like you live in my head.Well..I , nevermind. I will explain that later. So, we should just get premium. Premium what.? YouTube Premium you dang danger. You darn darner. You deadgum deadgummer. Ok. Enough with the truth name calling. Lets do it.! Did it. And Me and You lived slightly happier ever after. Still had to deal with each other. Work until death. Worry about basically everything that exsist. Was that flat long rock looking thing really a space ship of some sorts.? But ads. Ads Scmads.Dont know them anymore. And man it is awesome. Youll forget. Hit play. Wonder what 5 second commercial you are about to skip. Bam.! The video starts and you remember. No ads. I do not have ads AnYMoRe.! I love you Premium.! Yes I do.!My purchase date was actually around April 7th. Had to cancel and reorder the product. Just wanted to put that in here.

I’ll probably keep it for now just because I do enjoy watching videos without ads and listening in the background, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must-have unless you’re someone who spends a ton of time on YouTube every single day.
