Great monitor for price (bought on sale)

The extra resolution over 1080p and the extra width in resolution allows you to fit MUCH more information on the screen, and could potentially replace a dual monitor setup.

While limited by its 1080p resolution he "raves" about its clarity for his reading and production projects. He said: "It has improved my movie watching...no blurring." And it has wide viewing angles. Young grandchildren like its gaming capabilities. Fixed stand may limit its use for someone that needs to adjust for their ergonomics. But not a deal breaker.
