Decent Offer, Limited Duration

The ability to enjoy an ad-free YouTube experience was definitely a plus, and the inclusion of offline downloads was convenient for watching videos without an internet connection. However, the duration of the offer was limited, and after the 3-month period, I would need to subscribe to continue accessing the premium features. While it was enjoyable to have the enhanced YouTube experience temporarily, the short duration of the offer left me wanting more.

Pointless unless you care about the originals

I don't really care for the originals and prefer the millions of free content that blows this paid stuff out of the water. Youtube just doesn't hold a candle to services like Netflix, Amazon, or Disney+. So really the only useful thing Premium offers is the removed ads, but there are other ways that I won't mention here that you can watch videos on Youtube ad free, and it takes less than 5 minutes to set up, I've been watching Youtube videos without ads for the past 5 years. Plus I honesetly don't feel Youtube deserves any money the until their current CEO retires and they go through a complete corporate overhaul. They have been continuing to make tons of anti-consumer moves the past few years and I feel Youtube hasn't really been the same since the mid 2010s when it slowly started going downhill somewhere around 2015 and each year got worse. They started taking away features and pushing mainstream media videos, lame late night talk show hosts, and major bands and corporations on their front page. Plus they took away the dislike button because they were afraid of all the downvotes the major corporations and propaganda videos on Youtube were getting and decided to take away the voice of the users. Youtube was one of the greatest sites in the late 2000s and was at its peak in the early 2010s, I miss the days Youtube was about the organic content creators and random videos by everyday people. Now 90% of Youtube is big corporations, millionaire internet personalities and streamers, and major mainstream media and talk shows and music companies, this company just is another souless corporation that doesn't care about its users and what they want, and while Youtube still has great content if you dig, the great content isn't the stuff being pushed down our throats and Youtube is becoming less user friendly as the years go by.
