Even then family plan is great. Kids and I are constantly watching videos and hate ads. So this is great for us!

I hope they improve how good UI is and features in YouTube music though.

As far as my personal experience has been, the platform has its pros and cons. There is nothing new in the Premium version, except being ad-free. The shows that it provides as still basic, it would take some time for YouTube to reach the level of independent showbiz like Netflix.
