Just did our first replacement of water and air filters. The air filter is a simple squeeze on the cover and replace taking note of the filter direction.

The original lasted me about 6 months. Installation was a breeze...Gotta love LG fridges!!!

Works great no matter what is my refrigerator. The strongest foods are undetectable always.

I'm not sure how effective this really is. I replaced it twice at this point, but i could only tell j needed a new one because the indicator on my fridge said i needed to change it out. I've never owned a refrigerator that used an air filter, and I can't tell that having one on my new LG fridge is actually necessary. I can't say the interior of my fridge smells any better than my previous non-air filtered fridge. But the flashing indicator bothers me, so I'll co tinue to replace it.

Works exactly as it should. Should not cost this much though for what it is.
