    I have never had an issue with the filter. I have the item on a subscription and it gets delivered every 6 months.

    LG should offer auto filter replacement at time of purchasing the fridge(Some kind of promo). I know the bestbuy websites gives the option to order them on a scheduled bases.

    I don’t know how much good it does but every 6 months the light comes on to change it and the auto ship feature has a new one at my door at the same time and at a discounted price.
