LG reminds you when it is time to replace the air filter. It is easy to replace, but since it is in the rear of the interior, you may have to clear the top shelve to reach it. It keeps all of the food odors out of the refrigerator.

Quick and easy to replace, and keeps the fridge smelling fresh and clean. The removal process for the filter is a little scary because you feel like you're snapping something off, but it's not bad at all once you see how it works.

Purchased my LG refrigerator in October and wanted to replace the air filter at the same time as the water filter, which looks to be after six months. Easy to find the exact filter on the Best Buy website, delivered ahead of schedule and easy to install. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure I've ever had a fridge with an air filter, but the fridge notified me that it needed replacement so I replaced it. It was pretty easy.

Although I love my 1 1/2 year old LG refrigerator, the price to replace accessories can be cost prohibitive. The air filters do perform the function of removing food odors that could affect the flavor of other foods being stored. Between the price of replacing air and water filters any energy savings are probably greatly reduced.

Just like any air filter. Dust particles are captured in this filter to avoid spoiling and contamination of food. This filter does it job. Will only use recommended products to maintain effective use and consistency of refrigerator. It is easy to replace and install. Like any filter, replace it at recommended intervals.

Changed the filter after one year and it smells fresh again. I think I'm supposed to do it every 6 months but I had forgotten about it. I'm glad I finally did it, very easy to install.

Followed manufacturers instructions and found part # matching recommended Replacement part. My fridge had a different cover than what I found on manuals online but was simple to remove by twisting cover. Was satisfied with this purchase and would buy again.

Not sure if I really need a fresh air filter in my refrigerator, but I'll keep replacing it regularly just in case. It's easy to get Best Buy to deliver them automatically on a set schedule and the filter is easy to replace.

We had something in the frig that went bad. When I replaced the filter after 2 days and a top to bottom cleaning - no more smell. And it was bad.

We’ve been using this since we got an LG fridge and it works like magic!

I truly enjoyed my purchase but during the Christmas Holidays my Best Buy Card was used without my knowledge and put a damper on our Holiday. We think it was done on the inside because that is the only time my card as used. Citi Bank is looking into this fraud case.
