The installation or replacement process is not too difficult but when you "pop" the cover off it sounds like I broke it. Thankfully it snaps in place and works like a charm. Awesome cleaning and air system for the LG fridge.

Genuine LG and trusted supplier BestBuy

No issue with odor or anything. I typically go a month or two pass the 6 months mark without any issues. Only reason for 4 star is because I never see this item at discounted price. $25 every 6 months for such filter is a bit too much. I really with LG or BestBuy comes up with lower price if bought 2 or 3 at a time kinda deal. The sign up & Save is not bad but still not cheap enough for me.
