Just got KitchenAid for a gift this (2018) Christmas. Have wanted one for years so was excited for it and this attachment. Say goodbye to bagged cheese and hello to freshly shredded! Used it and it works like a charm and easy clean up too!

I purchased this for my wife and she has found it to be quite useful in her meal preparation. The construction of the unit is quite good as you would expect from Kitchen Aid. It attaches easily, does a great job, and is easy to clean.

This mixer is sooooo much help in the kitchen and can do so many things to aid in cooking. Not just a mixer...It slices, dices, chops, and even makes Pasta. Unbelievable. We love all the attachment sets we can add to this mixer ! Great Purchase !!!

This is awesome! We love using it to chop veggies. It did not work to slice a summer sausage. We just use it for veggies and cheese.

It’s really easy to use and clean and it already comes with a blade ready for use in the system so it practally lock in and use the only down fall I see would be is that the cheese/ food something does get stuck between the blade and outter case as it comes to an end

everything disassembles and washes up super nice. the only downside is there's always a "chunk" of cheese that doesn't get shredded and gets stuck between the inner (rotating) barrel and the outer (fixed) barrel. no matter what i try there's always a piece that gets stuck in there.

My 30+ yr old kitchen aid shredder attachment had cracks in it and was no longer easy to take apart. When I saw this deal on a stainless steel replacement, and the great deal, I had to have it. Works so much better than the old one!

If you have a KitchenAid mixer out on your countertop, this is a great device for shredding, slicing and grating without having to take out a food processor. Works extremely well, cleanup is a breeze.
