Haven’t used it yet. Finally did the “pre-wash” of everything. Looks absolutely GORGEOUS!!! It came with 3 attachments, which is great. Since I have the “bowl lift” 5-quart version, I have to be careful looking at accessories due to certain models ONLY accept certain one specific to that model version. My mother-in-law had wanted the version I got my wife. So, I felt pretty good that I got the correct one. Already bought one attachment (shredder) and looking to other items. I think I might actually like this more than my wife (lol). Got this on sale for just over $200 between Black Friday and Christmas so I feel VERY lucky since it was a super fast seller.

What do you get for a Mom that has everything - an accessory for her KitchenAid that she bought for herself right before Christmas. A perfect complement to her purchase and an easy way for her to use. She was thrilled as this will save her hands much work.

I needed a grater so bad, of course I have a hand held one, but trying to grate carrots for a carrot cake is so hard with the hand held grater. I decided it was time to invest in the attachment for my mixer & I'm so happy I did. It works great; I love it

I found attachment easy to attach and use. Little harder than expected to clean.

Love this! Makes grating blocks of cheese so EASY so I don't buy the pre-shred stuff that has coatings on it and a diminished taste.

This is a great attachment for a Kitchenaid mixer. My husband came straight home after purchasing this and started grabbing miscellaneous food from the fridge to test it out.

Great attachment that comes in handy for when you are cooking! The mixer is great for baking and recipes requiring lots of mixing, but the prep attachment makes the blender a much more use it every meal tool! worth the $$ to add this to the kitchen.

Even the packaging is so nice. I don't want to even throw away the box. it's perfect for storing it in the cabinet anyway. Worth the money. Fresh shredded cheese melts so much better and doesn't clump in mac n cheese.

this is great makes shredding cheese and other items so much easier than the plastic hand crank 1 we have that the handle won't stay on and the thing won't stay in 1 place. This you just attach it and go.

This is exactly what we needed in our kitchen. We have made pastas and shredded cheese easily with this thing!!!! Oh and easy dough making!!! I love it

The equipment felt very bulky at first and it is very heavy too. But, like everything in life, you have to get used to it. I have used the equipment to make dough, whisk egg whites and soon. It is very useful!

Did a great job making quick work of all the veggies for a chicken salad dinner! I love how much thought they put into this. Seems like itll last forever with proper care

This shreds and slices cheese and veggies flawlessly. We love it and saves the hand sprain from using manual shredders.

We use this mainly for cheese and it works well, the only problem is you waste cheese as some always slides between the grater insert and the housing unit and flattens out. If you do a lot you will have to pull out strips of cheese or it will eventually cause it to clog up.
