This shredder attachment is great! I will not shred cheese any other way! And veggies? Amazing!

I was a little disappointed in these as they are not very large so when you grate cheese it ended up just balling up in the chamber. I might need to be sure the cheese is extra chilled if using it. I wish the chamber was larger like it was in the early models of this mixer.

I love the fact that my hands don't have to hurt just to have grated cheese or sliced veggies. It is an arthritic person's dream!

I needed a grater so bad, of course I have a hand held one, but trying to grate carrots for a carrot cake is so hard with the hand held grater. I decided it was time to invest in the attachment for my mixer & I'm so happy I did. It works great; I love it

Good, not perfect. Expensive for what you get - some generic brands are available for half or less the price at other retailers. It slices and shreds. Soft things get stuck easily when shredding, which means cleanup is a little harder and sometimes you have to clean mid-way through shredding because the holes are all clogged. Good for what it is, but not great. If you shell out $100-200 for a good food processor that can shred and slice, you probably don't need this. But the benefit is that it is relatively compact and just adds right on to your existing machinery.

Always get the large cheese in bulk. This thing is great with the mixer. Saves the hands and carpal tunnel.

Works great. Does the job as described! Built ok for rhe cost. Full stainless steel would probably be better but cant complain for the price

Great attachment that comes in handy for when you are cooking! The mixer is great for baking and recipes requiring lots of mixing, but the prep attachment makes the blender a much more use it every meal tool! worth the $$ to add this to the kitchen.

Even the packaging is so nice. I don't want to even throw away the box. it's perfect for storing it in the cabinet anyway. Worth the money. Fresh shredded cheese melts so much better and doesn't clump in mac n cheese.

Love this! Makes grating blocks of cheese so EASY so I don't buy the pre-shred stuff that has coatings on it and a diminished taste.

This is a great attachment for a Kitchenaid mixer. My husband came straight home after purchasing this and started grabbing miscellaneous food from the fridge to test it out.

this is great makes shredding cheese and other items so much easier than the plastic hand crank 1 we have that the handle won't stay on and the thing won't stay in 1 place. This you just attach it and go.

It does the job great and is easy to use and clean. Exactly what you would expect

We use this mainly for cheese and it works well, the only problem is you waste cheese as some always slides between the grater insert and the housing unit and flattens out. If you do a lot you will have to pull out strips of cheese or it will eventually cause it to clog up.
