Blade changes are easier, blades themselves now have plastic edges to grab onto. The only downside is that the opening to insert veggies is a good bit smaller, and larger items must be precut.

Fair cheese grating

Some cheese tends to get jammed into the margins, rolls up and just remains there until you remove the grate. It's not a ton but still annoying.

Much cheaper to buy a brick of cheese and shred it yourself in many different sizes. Quick tip is to partially freeze cheese if your shredding so it doesn't gunk up
