i really liked this movie i thought it was good... if u like horror movies, then buy it. you will enjoy.

An icon of the 80s, Jason returns with the help of Platinum Dunes in this sequel disguised as a loose reboot. While the kills may not be as plentiful in the film like some of the others in the series, they are well done and the film's first 10 minutes are pretty darn good.

Jason is seen running! Not a remake of 1980 jason!

I was hoping to like this movie a lot, but I was disappointed. Other than the scenery change, new actors, and new gory effects, this movie was almost identical to the other horror films of past. Movie summary: kids go into woods to do unwise things, kids encounter psycho, psycho unleashes his fury, and all the kids........... Well, I won't ruin the movie, but you get the idea. This is not a movie that I would own. However, I am glad that I saw this movie because I'm a fan of the Friday the 13th series.

The movie combined to parts into one. If you seen any horror movie in the 80's you can predict every scene. Without seeing the actual original. Bad, yes it is! My wife will not watch a horror flick at night, but we were both laughing at this movie more than screaming. RTS, Return To Sender. Glad I only paid 16 Dollars for a dvd than 50 bucks at a theater. Finally they left out the trade mark sound when you knew he was coming. Also he ran. He never had to in originals!

This is a retelling of Friday the 13th and it's a big mess not really scary or interesting or even that gory by today's standards.But if all you're looking for is breasts,and blood this movie is it.None of the killings are inventive,but they are plentiful.Why bother being devious when axes,machetes,knives,and pointed sticks will do the job just as well.
