Love the steelbook art so much. I'm stoked to add this one to my collection. If you never seen the Friday the 13th movies you are missing out, especially if you are a horror movie buff! Do yourself a favor and pick this one up before there gone- jr_hybrid_collectables

Probably one of the best Camp horror films ever made!!!! Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco is the place to be or also known as Camp Crystal Lake in the movie. Paramount's finest hour.

Who doesn't love this classic film? Timelessly scary, always a good rewatch. Bestbuy killed it with the steelbook design here, gets you nice and pumped for mommy when loading up the blu-ray player!

So, the 40th Anniversary Edition of Friday the 13th is probably as good as it is going to get. It's a killer package and even includes the digital copy. Artwork is fantastic on front and back. Inside has artwork as well, not just a plain steel look as some of the early steelbooks of films or ones that don't go the extra effort to make it spectacular. This Blu-ray is the UNCUT version and has the same features as previously released on the Blu-ray format. The only minor gripe I have with this set is the blue color Paramount decided to use on the actual disc. They could have used the poster front artwork as seen on the cover of the steelbook. There is one like that, but it is part of the fairly new released Scream Factory box set of all the F13th movies together in one massive set. All of those have the individual artwork on the discs. I am a steelbook collector and am looking forward to the PART II being released next month. Highly recommended if you don't have the Steelbook of this one. I don't know if we will ever see a 4K disc version of this one, but if we do, I am in line for it.

Well it is that time of year. Horror is in the air and this film does it right. Plenty of jumps and screams as you watch this film A good visual update to a classic

Friday the 13th is a great Halloween film that deserves more credit than it gets and should be watched every October for any Halloween fanatic

This is a great addition to any film collection I already own this movie on several different formats including the Blu-ray Steelbook from several years ago. But this is still a must have being the 40th anniversary edition & on Steelbook. They did a real nice job with the artwork on the Steelbook the front is the original poster from 1980 & the bavk has the music whenever jason appears. The Blu-ray scan of this film looks & sounds great. I would highly recommend getting this. There is also a new Friday the 13th box set coming out on October 13th 2020 I would highly recommend getting also it has every Friday the 13th film including Freddy VS Jason & the 2009 remake

One of the first classic slasher horror movies I saw as a child. I was at a friends and didn’t have permission to watch but we did. 4 bits in the floor with homemade popcorn, the lights turned off and my friends mom, dad and sisters sitting in the furniture behind us scaring us to death every time that music (kill, kill, kill) and something bad happened. Looks great in 4K and love the classic artwork on the collectible Steelbook. Just like I remember it. The first hollow web costume I was allowed to pick myself and was allowed to be scary: That classic all white hockey goalie mask that could only mean one thing; Jason!
